The Sacred Colour Green in Celtic Tradition

The reason Ireland is associated with green isn’t just the landscape.
In Celtic symbolism, green represented:

🌿 life and fertility
🌱 renewal and rebirth
🍀 connection to the spirit of the land

The land itself was often personified as a sovereignty goddess, and the health of the land reflected the health of the people.

Interestingly, green also had a mystical side — in folklore it was considered the colour of the Otherworld, the realm of the Tuatha Dé Danann and the fair folk.

🌸 The Symbols of Ostara

The sacred festival of Ostara celebrates the return of life, light, and fertility to the Earth.

Two of the most ancient symbols of this celebration are the egg and the hare.

🥚 The Egg
The egg represents the seed of life, creation, and hidden potential. In many ancient traditions it symbolized the birth of the world and the mystery of new beginnings. During Ostara it reminds us that every intention we plant now can grow and blossom with the coming season.

🐇 The Hare
The hare is a powerful symbol of fertility, abundance, and the wild energy of spring. In old European folklore it was believed to be a sacred animal of the goddess, connected to the moon, intuition, and the cycles of nature.

Together, the egg and the hare represent the miracle of renewal — the awakening of life after the long sleep of winter.

Happy Fridqy 13th

This day was never meant to be associated with fear and bad luck 🍀
It is actually the day to honour Goddess Freyja whose name translates to Friday She who is the Goddess of magic, love , but is not afraid of battle a very strong independent Goddess who shows us every image of the feminine power.

13 was a sacred number, the 13 full moons in the turning of the wheel of the year, linked with divine femininity, fertility, the cycle of life. It is said by some that it was diminished by the patriarchal system to suppress feminine power , outcasting the number re representing it as a bad omen.

So Friday 13th took on this superstition of a day filled with bad happenings when it is actually the complete opposite!

Obviously we cannot mention Goddess Freyja without her cats 🐈‍⬛
Again this creatures have been turned into bad omens known as witches familiars the feline and the feminine connection, when they are actually companions of the hearth who it is said they can shift easily between the worlds.

So I wish you all a Friday 13th that is filled with magic and love ❤️

Now that Jupiter has stationed direct, I want to shift our attention toward what’s happening with Mars, Mercury & the North Node in Pisces, as we have an interesting sequence of events unfolding.

Mars is currently applying to a conjunction with the True North Node, which will be exact on Friday at 8°54’ Pisces. We are already well within the orb of this alignment & many people may already feel that something is stirring.

Mars represents action, courage & initiative. The North Node points toward growth & the direction the future is asking us to move.

When these two meet, it can feel like a nudge toward forward movement - even if the full picture is not yet completely clear.

For now, the uncertainty may be part of the design, as Mercury is still retrograde in Pisces, suggesting that insight & understanding are still forming.

Then on March 18, near the time of the upcoming Pisces New Moon, Mercury will form its own conjunction with the North Node. Moments like this often coincide with realizations, conversations, or pieces of information that help us understand the direction we are being asked to move.

Just two days later, on March 20, Pisces season ends & Mercury stations direct - another powerful turning point that can bring clarity after a period of reflection.

When considered together, the sequence is striking:
Mars activates the path forward.
Mercury begins to understand it.
And as Mercury stations direct, the moment for clearer movement arrives.

But there’s another layer - Mars is also beginning to apply toward a supportive trine with Jupiter in Cancer. That alignment happens as Mercury goes direct, suggesting the actions we begin taking now may open doors as the month unfolds.

With eclipse season still active until the New Moon, the insights & decisions of this moment may carry more significance than they first appear. Pay attention. Your path forward may become much clearer as Aries season comes into view.
