🥵🥵It's been a warm one today🥵🥵
Things to remember:
🌞 Less is more, especially with kids who sometimes won't tell you or be able to tell you that they are too hot!
🥤I don't want to teach you to suck eggs but...more heat, more sweat, more fluids needed. So many kids that I work with say, 'I've left my drink in the car, or in my bag, I don't need it' Yes you do, it takes 1 minute to get a drink (which could save you from some dehydration)
Be mindful that Some children with SEND will need or want specific drinks bottles and drinks and this shouldn't be a barrier to exercise in the hot weather.
🧢 🕶️ Protect yourself, suncream, sunhat, sunglasses. No Sun burn on my sessions. Some kids with clothing/tactile sensitivity may struggle with this so we need to bear this in mind!
🌳🌳 Where possible I complete all summer sessions in the shade. (we still take regular breaks) 10-15 min on, at least 5 minutes off (sometimes more)
