So important to give yourself some "Me Time" and recharge your batteries.
In the hectic world we live in trying to balance everything can be difficult- parenting children & their school life activities, our work, trying to have a social life, the daily chores of home life, maybe elderly parents too makes having any form of "Me Time" near enough impossible and what we would like to achieve at times goes straight out the window..
But what we do know from research is that even an hour a week, can have a huge benefit on our overall mental & physical well being. You may feel that you could spend time doing more practical stuff but honestly taking that much needed “me time" for self-care is essential and will have a positive rippling effect that will seep into other areas of your life.
By you acknowledging that you deserve this reward (Me Time) and are worth taking care of, self-care has amazing psychological benefits, boosting self-esteem and overall happiness.
