Here at Allerdale Disability Association we run an information service which provides our clients with free start-to-finish help on numerous disability benefits. In that, we will help you fill out the original form and will offer support and guidance all the way through to your medical and a
ppeal, should you require it. The benefits we offer help with include:
- Personal Independence Payment
- Employment and Support Allowance
- Child’s Disability Living Allowance
- Universal Credit
- Attendance Allowance
- Carers Allowance
- Pension Credit
- Blue Badge Forms
Furthermore, we help clients with disability-related enquiries including access issues, aids, adaptations and training. We also run a drop-in service for adults with physical disabilities offering social opportunities and a chance to widen social circles in a friendly and informal manner. We also provide a variety of different activities for our members including prized bingo, quizzes, and card games, as well as providing internet access to those who would otherwise not go on-line.
