Friday night Chasing meteor ☄️ showers!
A last minute adventure with the dogs, chasing meteor showers.
We found a quiet, dark sky car park at Worth Matravers and crossed our fingers for the clouds to clear. We stayed in the van overnight, warmed by candlelight, listening to the waves crash against the rocks below.
We did not get a full shower of meteors, but we did catch a few shooting stars. And honestly, that was enough. That moment of stillness always resets my body and steadies my nervous system in a way nothing else quite does.
Wandering in the dark, eyes lifted to the sky, hoping to glimpse something extraordinary has a way of putting everything into perspective.
And yes, I know this is another post about the stars… but do you know what? I love it. They make me happy.
And if they make me happy, maybe they will make you happy too.
Some things are not there to be seen just once.
They are there to ground us. To root us in the seasons. To remind us how small we are and how vast life can be.
The stars are big enough to make me believe that anything is possible.
