If you have recieved text message please pop in to collect your prescription as we are running out of space and its taking longer to locate prescriptions on collection, which in turn extends waiting time.

Not collected prescriptions left in pharmacy for longer than 3 weeks will be send back to GP and patients will have to re order.

🔹 How do I know if I've got hayfever? 🔹

Hayfever, also known as allergic rhinitis, is an allergic reaction to pollen, often causing symptoms like sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes, and throat. If you experience these symptoms, especially during specific times of the year (spring, summer, or autumn)you may have hay fever.

Here's a more detailed look at how to identify hay fever:

Common Symptoms:

Sneezing: Frequent and persistent sneezing is a hallmark of hay fever.

- Runny or stuffy nose: A runny or blocked nose can cause difficulty breathing and is a common symptom.

- Itchy, red, or watery eyes: These are also frequent symptoms of hay fever.

- Itchy throat, mouth, nose, or ears: These can cause discomfort and irritation.

- Loss of smell: Hay fever can affect your sense of smell.

- Headaches or pain around the forehead and eyes: These can occur due to nasal congestion.

- Fatigue and tiredness: Hay fever can make you feel unwell and tired.

Are you suffering with Asthma or COPD and use inhalers?

Did you know that our pharmacist and pharmacy technician can help you with many aspects of managing your Asthma through our INHALER REVIEW SERVICE provided in branch.

If you think you're not getting the full benefit of your Inhalers you may need to check that you're using them right, you can aska member of staff in branch to check your inhaler technique.

If you haven't had an Asthma or COPD review with your GP or nurse and you're worried about your symptoms, ask the Pharmacist to do the review, GP referral will be sent if needed after the consultation.
