ACTIVE FUTURE IS BACK!
Build Strength | Combat Frailty | Reduce Pain
One third of people over 65 experience a fall at least once a year, rising to 50% for those over 80. And from the age of 40 to 70, our muscle mass decreases by approximately 8% per decade and after 70 years that rate increases to 15% per decade. However, frailty is not inevitable.
We are thrilled to announce that Active Futures, our programme to build strength, combat frailty, and reduce pain, is starting again this December. Starting spring 2026, a nominal free will apply to the Active Futures programme, so don’t miss this final opportunity to join completely free!
Pre-assessments kick off next week, followed by an introduction to the classes before the full programme begins in January.
This twice-weekly physiotherapist-led programme is designed for older adults and delivers proven results which:
Reduce pain
Improve balance and strength
Provides greater confidence and independence
