Let’s clear this up once and for all. You don’t build muscle in the gym.

You just give your body the signal to start the process. The actual muscle building happens afterwards when you’re resting, sleeping and fuelling your body properly.

So if you’re smashing your workouts but:
❌ Not eating enough (especially protein)
❌ Sleeping badly
❌ Living in a stressful environment

…then you’re just stalling your progress, even if you’re training hard.

Muscle growth is a two step process:
1️⃣ Training signals it
2️⃣ Recovery creates it

Most growth happens in the days after you train, not instantly. And not just for a few hours. Your body is repairing, rebuilding and adapting across 48 - 72 hours (and sometimes longer)

So treat your recovery like part of your training. That’s where the magic happens! ✨
