In a world where kids are expected to think fast, scroll quickly, and always be "on," it's easy to forget that young minds need rest too. Not just sleep — but real rest. The kind that comes from silence, soil, and slow moments.

Planting a seed. Watching it grow. Getting your hands a little dirty. These small, simple acts can give the brain something it's quietly begging for: peace.

Because sometimes the most powerful thing a child can do… is slow down.

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to say a big thank you for all your support and patience while we searched for a new venue for Finding Me. It really means a lot that you stuck with me through the changes, and I’ve felt so encouraged by your kind words and flexibility.

I’m really happy to let you know that Finding Me has now moved to my home address. I can’t wait to welcome you and your little ones into the new space—it’s warm, calm, and set up to help us continue all the wonderful work we’ve started together.

I’m so looking forward to seeing you all again soon and continuing our journey in “Finding Me.”

Hi, I’m Tina!

With over 26 years in the childcare sector, I’ve dedicated my life to supporting children’s growth and development. As a mother of four and stepmum to six, I understand the challenges that come with parenting and the importance of nurturing a child’s emotional well-being.

My passion lies in child development, equality, and helping children navigate difficult behaviors. I know that modern life—school pressures, family changes, grief, and more—can be overwhelming for young minds.

Having studied play therapy, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it can be. Through play, children can express emotions that may be difficult to put into words, unlocking feelings and experiences in a safe and supportive environment.

I’m excited to launch my new clinic, in Yarm (dates and times to be announced soon), where I’ll be offering play therapy sessions to help children process their emotions, build confidence, and develop coping skills.
