🍽️🐟 Don’t Dine Alone – Fish & Chips Fridays! 🐟🍟

At Floryn House Care Home, every first Friday of the month we host our Don’t Dine Alone Fish & Chips meal – bringing residents and the local community together to enjoy a classic favourite 💜

It’s a lovely opportunity to share stories, laughter, and friendship over crispy fish and golden chips, reminding us that meals are always better when shared.

A touch of spring at Floryn House! 🌸🌼

Our residents enjoyed a lovely flower arranging workshop today, creating beautiful spring baskets and bows filled with fresh blooms and colour. It was wonderful to see so much creativity, laughter, and teamwork as everyone added their own personal touch.

🎨 Turning Memories into Masterpieces

We recently celebrated the incredible talent of our resident Ron with a special art exhibition here at Floryn House. His inspiring artwork transformed memories and creativity into beautiful masterpieces for everyone to admire.

Residents, families, and team members loved exploring Ron’s collection and celebrating his passion for art. Moments like these remind us how creativity can bring people together and inspire our community 💛

Resident Ron Mutton hosted a special art exhibition at Floryn House Care Home in Yarnton, showcasing paintings inspired by his world travels.

To celebrate National Wildlife Day, we welcomed ZooLab for a special visit, bringing along some amazing creatures for our residents to see and hold.

A wonderful experience and a lovely way to celebrate the day! 🐍🐌

Wow… what a truly special day

Ron’s art exhibition was more than just a success, it was the fulfilment of a lifelong dream, and we feel so incredibly proud to have been part of making it happen.

Ron has been fortunate to travel far and wide over the years, visiting so many iconic landmarks that clearly left their mark on him. Through his artwork, he brought those memories to life in the most beautiful and heartfelt way. To see him sharing those pieces and the stories behind them was simply heartwarming.

The smiles, the conversations, the support in the room… it all made the day feel so meaningful. Thank you to every single person who came along.

And as if the day wasn’t special enough, Ron also raised an incredible £130 for Parkinson’s UK through his exhibition.

We couldn’t be happier for him. What a day to remember 🎨🖌️

Happy Valentine’s Day from all of us at Floryn House 💜

We’ve been spreading with a fun heart hunt, a special Valentine’s meal, and a lovely party. There have been lots of smiles, laughter, and as always, great company along the way
