Officially 2 weeks into TCS London Marathon training π
Feeling very lucky to be properly back at it after a tendon injury post Abingdon Marathon sidelined my normal running for 10 weeks.
Injuries are inevitable, but how you deal with them is up to you:
- ADAPT to the situation, and make sure you focus on what you are able to do.
- PRIORITISE what is important right now; competitions/races will still be there next year, but you canβt do those if you donβt take the time to heal now.
- REALISE why you do what you do; remind yourself why you love your sport, and that will motivate you for your return to full health.
