As part of Yateley School, we have the exciting opportunity of being part of a four week expedition next summer to Cambodia with Camps International. Whilst there, we will be working on projects which will have a life-changing impact on the local community – now and for years to come. We will be involved in projects such as Education: Helping generations of children and babies by building a new sc
hool classroom or kindergarten, Housing: Constructing vitally needed community housing from local materials for some of the most impoverished families, Healthcare and sanitation: Improving the health of a whole community through installing and improving local amenities, Food and water security: Installing new water supplies to ensure school children have access to fresh, clean drinking water, Environmental protection: Replacing saplings in areas affected by deforestation. Every project Camps International start they complete, thanks to dedicated volunteers like ourselves. We welcome the support of our local business community, family and friends to raise funds for our expedition. Almost all volunteers raise 75% or more of the total expedition cost, our target is to raise the full expedition cost of £4000 each. On our page you will find how the money is allocated. From this you will see 42% of the money raised goes directly towards investing in local economies, communities, wildlife and environmental conservation. Support us, do something amazing, by either:
• Sponsoring a logo space on our t-shirt for £100. We will wear the t-shirt at all our fundraising events, as well as on expedition where we will take photographs for you to use on our return
• Sponsoring a flag with your company logo for £200. We will display the flag at all our fundraising events, as well as on expedition where we will take photographs with the flag for you to use on our return
• Donating a prize for a raffle or auction which will be held at one of our fundraising events. We will advertise your sponsorship donation at all our fundraising events
