Boots have recently announced that they'll be rolling out their in-store blister pack recycling service nationwide. 👏🥳
This means that there will soon hopefully be a collection point near you!

The packaging used for tablets and medication is usually a mixture of plastic and foil it makes it tricky to recycle and requires a specialist service.

Yeovil PCN are completing Health checks on behalf of Penn Hill, Oaklands, Preston Grove, Hendford Lodge and Ryalls park at Abbey Manor Practice. If you are a patient of one of these practices and are aged 40 to 74 and do not have any of the following pre-existing conditions, then please contact your practice to make an appointment.

*heart disease

*chronic kidney disease

*diabetes

*high blood pressure (hypertension)

*atrial fibrillation

*transient ischaemic attack

*inherited high cholesterol (familial hypercholesterolemia)

*heart failure

*peripheral arterial disease

*currently being prescribed statins to lower cholesterol
