This is tricky but super important..... VICTIM BLAMING LANGUAGE......some examples...... lets just think about this for a minute and reflect upon the implications of this for our own practice?
• “Putting themselves at risk”
• “Promiscuous”
• “Having contact with adults via the internet”
• “Drug running”
• “Involved in CSE”
• “She’s 15 and has a 30-year-old boyfriend

Dated but still an EXTREMELY relevant experiment to continue learning from, especially for our parents / carers of babies & children who stick phones, ipads, tablets, in front of their young charges instead of interacting with them. If we continue to allow this we are creating SIGNIFICANT developmental problems going foward....

'Superb' - 'Engaging, informative, interesting, best training for a long time, learnt loads, clear and measurable aims' from Penny (Foster Carer for Family Fostercare) regarding Harmful Sexual Behaviour (HSB) Training yesterday. It was a real pleasure to work with you and your teams Verity Coppard. Thankyou so much for the opportunity. It is very clear your carers are committed and passionate. Your children and young people are lucky to have you all!

I'm seriously struggling with this article! How on earth is a 13 year old (girl on this occasion) allowed to enter a VR Stripclub and encouraged to take part in sexual acts?????? And further down the article the writer talks of needing to protect a 7 year old!!! A 7 YEAR OLD??????? And we wonder why our children and highly sexualised??????? We need to wake up and smell the coffee here people! We are in serious trouble....
