H**p, Spirulina, Banana and Soya milk.

When it comes to protein powelders I choose h**p every time, here's why.

H**p is 100% plant based vegan.

H**p protein is simply ground h**p seeds not processed whatsoever.

H**p protein is naturally 50% protein 💪

Three tablespoons (30 grams) of h**p seeds contain 3,000 mg of ALA omega-3 fatty acids, or 162–236% of the daily recomended amount.

H**p contains a huge range of other vitamins and minerals.

Spirulina, also high in protein is another nutrition power house loaded with more vitamins, minerals and anti oxidants including large amounts of chlorophyll.

500ml of soy milk provides a furthur 15g of plant based vegan protein.

The banana is high in the electrolyte potassium and has a good amount of magnesium to help with muscle contractions and reduce cramps in addition to adding flavour and sweetness disguising the not so pleasant taste Spirulina has when taken alone.

When your not happy being 40 seconds slower than last wk, so you blast out another km.

Then get back and realise its probably because you ran an extra 100m and your p**s wet through clothes probably weighed an extra 5kg 🙄

Vegan food is too expensive!
Really!

Just made this post workout meal with enough protein in under 20 mins for about 50p.

Cook 75g of basmati rice per instructions, whilst frying an onion and about an inch of fresh ginger finely chopped.
Add 1 teaspoon curry powder, 1/2 teaspoon of tumeric and a sprinkle of salt.

Add in 300g frozen peas and 100g frozen sweetcorn and cook for about 5 mins.

Stir in the cooked rice, add a squeeze of lemon and heat through.

Enjoy 😋😋

Cauliflower, spinach and Black bean Madras big pan meal prep 👌

Did you know that by combining cauliflower and beans you get the full spectrum of essential amino acids for a complete protein, ideal for those vegan gains.

Cheated with this one and used a jar of Pataks madras paste.

2 onions
4 cloves of garlic
1 inch fresh ginger
1 red chilli
1 green chilli
1 jar Pataks madras paste
3 cans black beans
2 tins plum tomatoes
2 cups of cauliflower
150 g spinach
Handfull of chopped coriander
300ml water

Fyr the 1st 5 ingredients in a little oil till onions are translucent.

Add the paste, cauliflower and 50ml of the water and cook for simmer for 5 mins.

Add the remaining ingredients except spinach and coriander and simmer for 15 mins

Add the spinach and coriander and cook for a furthur 5 mins untill the spinach has wilted.

Serve with basmati rice and mango chutney.

Authentic Tofu Rendang 👌

This tasted pretty much exactly like when I had it in Thailand, Extremely spicy 🥵

The pictures pretty much show what went into it but if you have any questions I'm happy to answer.

So basically press and cut the Tofu into quite big chunks and fry on med heat in coconut oils, turning occasionally untill slightly golden and very firm.

Then cook the 1st plate of chopped ingredients untill soft, add the second plate and cook for another 5 mins or so.

Tradionally these ingredients would be blended before cooking but I decided I'd add the can of coconut milk then blend it with a stick blender, before adding the Tofu back in and Heating through to finish the dish.

Crispy Tandoori Tofu and bang bang cauliflower stir fry with noodles

Press one block of Tofu and cube, mix 3 tbls cornflour with 2.tbsp tandoori powder and carefully roll the Tofu in the mixture till all sides are coated. Then fry ina little rapeseed oil till firm. And crispy. Set aside.

Add a cup of frozen Brocolli to a wok and fry till you can just get a fork into it, keep it moving and add a few drops of water if it starts to burn.

Add bang bang cauliflower and fry till tender.

Add 1.packet of Konjac noodles (or rice noodles pre cooked as per packet instructions) and fry for 1 to 2 mins.

I'd definetely go with rice noodles as the Konjac ones lacked flavour.

Add bean sprouts and fry for another 1 to 2 mins before added the cooked Tofu.

Heat through and serve with a. Good splash of Frank's hot sauce or other chilli sauce.
