Here is a very proud Vicky after winning the ‘duck game’ last week at the Creative Hub – Burnholme, in York!

A twist on boccia, the ‘duck game’ requires competitors to knock the ducks off the cones using a boccia ball. So much fun!

With support from United Response’s People’s Fund, Brendan has now published his first graphic novel, Genesis of the Star-Knights, alongside a range of merch to go with it!

We’re proud to share that his work is now being exhibited at The Body Shop in York city centre! What a fantastic opportunity to share his talent with the wider community.

Charlie Burrows is part of a Viking re-enactment group in York, and here he is using his skills working in his forge, to make a Penanular Viking-style brooch! These are typically used to hold cloaks to the chain mail that Vikings wore.

Charlie is supported by Creative Hub York City Centre, where they help him in his forge, designing and selling items, such as fire pokers, shovels and brushes.

Thanks to The Press in York for this great feature on the amazing Liv, who wrote a song in support of the Our Life Stories exhibition which took place The Guildhall York, and then across the country during February.

Liv is an amazing talent, and her song - Our Story - perfectly captures the essence and spirit of the entire project, bringing to life the stories of over 80 adults with learning disabilities and autistic people across England.

A MUSICIAN from York has lent her voice to a project which gives a glimpse into the lives of people with learning disabilities.
