So much rubbish spouted by so many medical professionals that we rely on for our health and wellness. We don't have 'health care', we have 'sick care' Their information and advice makes us sick and then we return to them for drugs to fix the sickness.

Don't get me wrong, quitting sugar is not easy. Nor is it an overnight quick thing. I recommend a minimum 60 day program, or better still 90 days to completely rid your body of the toxic effects of sugar consumption. At that point you'll have started to see differences in your health, your waist line and your energy levels. For someone that has been a heavy user over many years, a quick 7 day detox is almost worthless for learning the skills and coping mechanisms needed in order to let go of sugar for good.

Healthy fats not only aid brain function but also keep you feeling fuller for longer and stave off those pesky sugar cravings! Be sure to get plenty of whole food fats into your diet including wild salmon and other oily fish, small portions of nuts, avocados, olive oil, butter, drippings and coconut oil.

Try a flexible eating plan that doesn't impose strict rules, except for avoiding sugar, flour, and caffeine. Feel free to adopt a Keto, Paleo, Mediterranean, Carnivore, or Omnivore diet, as long as your focus remains on consuming whole foods, you'll be well on your way to breaking free from sugar!

Sugar is 8 times more addictive than sugar. How crazy is that, yet society lets us feed this stuff to our children and consume as much of it as we please without batting an eye. Why is it so acceptable?!
When dealing with a sugar addiction this is often the biggest struggle. The fact that it is everywhere and in everything we eat. There is no taking yourself out of that situation or escaping it. The fact that you're deemed the crazy one when you say you're quitting sugar but if it were co***ne or alcohol you were quitting you'd be applauded, that is madness to me!

Well, pardon my french but I call BU****IT.
When I was diagnosed I was told I'll have Type 2 for the rest of my life. That I'll be started on Metformin tablets, but eventually they won't work anymore and so somewhere down the line I will be having to inject insulin into myself every day. That this thing has no cure and is irreversible .
It's simply not true. With the right nutrition, i.e stop eating the sugary crap and the processed foods and swap for whole food, good protein and healthy fats, Type 2 Diabetes can be managed and eventually reversed. Many people the world over have done it and so can you.

Hi! I'm Natalie, I'm a diagnosed Type 2 Diabetic and Sugar Abuser in recovery turned Sugar Detox Coach.

For years, I struggled with my complicated relationship with sugar. I used it to cope with emotions, celebrate milestones, and really, just to get through the day. But this reliance on sugar came at a cost: weight gain, health problems, and a vicious cycle of cravings.
Sounds familiar, right?

I've learned that there's a better way! By quitting sugar and processed foods, and focusing on nutrient-rich whole foods, I've been able to balance my blood glucose levels, lose weight, and heal from health symptoms I thought were unrelated.
