A little reminder for when that volume on the inner critic turns up for some reason! Sometimes it can feel like we have lost all of our progress and that can feel really crushing - but remember we are always moving, changing, progressing. You know more now than you did before, and I want you to know that recognising the smallest steps of progress can have a huge impact on how you feel about yourself!

Important thought for this week! Feeling like quitting is totally understandable, expected at times.

We can't feel a consistently high level of motivation all the time and let's face it, sometimes things just feel really tough!

But at those points, if we can reconnect with what motivated us in the first place, I feel this can give us a power-up and the window of opportunity to get the support we need.

I do love a bit of baking, and with Valentine’s Day coming it has got me thinking all about love. What it means to love ourselves specifically- well I think it involves nourishing ourselves with whole, nutritious food, but balancing this with the foods that might not be classed as nutritious in the traditional sense!

This month, we're excited to dive into how our habits and past experiences have helped shape who we are today!

We'll take a closer look at what changes we want to make, what we’d like to hold onto, and how we can make it all happen together.
Having non-negotiables gives you a solid baseline, your “no matter what” habits that keep you grounded and moving forward, even on tough days. Pairing that with an if/then strategy gives you a backup plan before you even need it. “If X happens, then I’ll do Y.”

Come to your workshop this week to learn more about implementation intentions and how to create an “if/then” guideline ahead of time so you can avoid being in a situation where you need to spend a lot of energy deciding what to do in the moment.

Loved in workshops this week really tuning into our "why" - the heart of what fuels us and the sat-nav that guides us in the right direction. We were condensing that down into a word that can anchor us to our motivation even when the going gets tough! So excited, this year we will begin a new collective challenge in our York workshops! Last year, together we conquered Land's End to John o' Groats (and back again!), The Scottish Coast 500, Orient Express, Route 66, York - Lapland and when that wasn't enough we went all the way to the North Pole in the Snowman Challenge 🤣.

This year begins with the epic Pacific Crest Trail 🤩

I absolutely believe in meeting people where they are - so any and ALL activity counts for these challenges (we are using a rough approximation of 30 mins of anything, from stretching to Zumba to kickboxing= 1 mile). Ticking off little boxes as we go, if you would like to take part come along to one of my workshops to find out more.

Let's see how many challenges we can conquer this year!
