We're looking for your input!

Hello Yogi’s! I really need this post to reach people. So even if you don’t have an opinion, I’d appreciate a reaction or comment drop to help the visibility if you don’t mind 🫶 anywhere you see “🌱” in the following paragraphs. Input would be appreciated 💕

Big changes coming. One of those changes is new classes! Yoga at the studio 7 days a week!
I am making a new schedule this week to go into effect in upcoming weeks. So here’s your chance to tell me what you want/need and we will do our best!

Spring weather has taken its toll on attendance (understandably so 😉) so we want to make some changes that better fit the community.
We are likely pushing Sunday class back to 7:00pm
And my gentle yoga in Thomaston will be moving to the studio on Wednesdays 7:00pm.
(Possibly adding a class Thursday night. Still working out the details)
🌱- are these changes helpful? Are you happy with the class styles?

Laura will be joining us for a Wednesday morning class! Aiming for an all levels strength and flexibility.
Some time options are 8:00am,9:00am,10:00am. (Open to other time input)
🌱 what time are you more likely to attend?

My Thursday and Friday morning times tend to do pretty well so unless there’s heavy demand I plan to leave them the same for now
🌱I am open to mild tweaks if you have suggestions. Or possibly changing the 4:00 class. Open to suggestions.

Saturday!, sadly Zumba will be leaving us (stay watching for possible future collabs and pop up events).
But that opens up Saturday to the possibility of earlier classes. Or maybe changing from yoga basics to an all levels mindful movement.
🌱would you like to see earlier Saturday classes? Change in class style? Or would you want an evening class instead?

This studio can only stay going with the love and support from our community. So we want to make some changes to be available for you 🫶💕 But we don’t know unless you tell us. So here’s your chance. We are all ears. Much love 💕 -Kileen

.ari and I have been busy cooking up some ideas! So you may start noticing some changes within the studio 💕💕
We are so excited to share them with you. Be on the lookout for updates to the website, the class options, the schedule, extra amenities and more 🌱 and also be patient with us as we navigate some change. This year has been heavy. Depression has had its claws in me for a very long time. There have been days, even weeks, I've isolated, I've cried oceans of tears, ignored messages and phone calls, and did the bare minimum just to get through the day. I've looked functional, but inside I have been exhausted.

The scary part is I know the tools. I know the signs. I know grounding techniques, movement helps, sunshine helps, connection helps. I know what anxiety and depression look like. How the anxiety-depression cycle works. How one small trigger can lead to monumental lows.

And still, I struggle.

That’s part of why I do what I do. Because so many people are fighting battles no one can see while still showing up with a smile. Because too many people think asking for help makes them weak or a burden.

It doesn’t.

If you’re barely holding it together right now, please reach out. You are not a burden. You are worthy. You are enough. You are loved.

Life has a way of rerouting us when we least expect it.

I was so excited to attend The Heart of Teaching Chair Yoga with and live, and I’ll be honest, I was disappointed to miss it. But working through the recordings has met me exactly where I am.

I’m currently in Session 5: Chair Yoga for Neurodivergent Adults with , and this one hit close to home.

This week has been heavy. As someone who is neurodivergent and lives with anxiety, depression and a few other things, I found myself navigating stress and even a few panic attacks, something I haven’t experienced in a while. And yet, coming back to these practices (even the ones I already “knew”) reminded me why I teach.

Because yoga isn’t about doing it perfectly.
It’s about having something to return to when life feels like too much.

This training is reaffirming the space I want to hold:
For the people who think they’re “not flexible enough,”
“not strong enough,”
“not calm enough,”
or “not the kind of person who does yoga.”

You belong here.

In whatever body you’re in.
On whatever day you’re having.

I’m still learning. I’m still navigating. I’m still a little awkward sometimes.

But if I can help even one person feel more at home in their body and present moment, it’s worth it. 💛

I’m excited to announce that we just launched the fall cohort of the Accessible Yoga Training Online! This is our foundational training that offers you the skills and perspectives to share yoga with every body—and in my opinion it’s an essential program for every yoga teacher.

We are always updating the content and curriculum of our trainings, so you’ll recognize a few new guest teachers and topics.

Upon completion, you’ll receive a 55-hour certificate.
