ქართულ-ამერიკული რეპროდუქციული კლინიკა რეპროარტი 2012 წლის ივლისში გაიხსნა. რეპროარტის ძირითადი საქმიანობა ყველა ტიპის უშვილობის კვლევასა და მკურნალობას მოიცავს, რომელთა შორის ერთ-ერთი წამყვანი მიმართულება ინ ვიტრო განაყოფიერების მეთოდით მკურნალობაა. კლინიკა მოიცავს ქალის და მამაკაცის რეპროდუქციულ ჯანმრთელობასთან დაკავშირებულ ყველა ასპექტს.
რეპროარტის დამფუძნებელი და დირექტორია ემბრიოლოგი ლიკა ჭყონია, რომელსაც საქართველოში ამ სფეროში მუშაობის 30 წლიანი, ხოლო ამერიკის შეერთებულ შტატებში ინ ვიტრო განაყოფიერების კლინიკებში მუშაობის 8-წლიანი გამოცდილება აქვს. რეპროარტის კლინიკური ნაწილის სამეცნიერო ხელმძღვანელი არის ნიუ იორკის უნივერსიტეტის ემბიოლოგიის ლაბორატორიის დირექტორის მოადგილე, დევიდ მაკკალა (Ph.D./H.C.L.D./C.C). დოქტორი მაკკალა ინ ვიტრო განაყოფიერების სფეროში 1983 წლიდან მუშაობს და მრავალი სამეცნიერო ნაშრომის, წიგნის და მონოგრაფიის ავტორია.
2014 წლის პირველი თებერვლიდან გაიხსნა კლინიკის ქუთაისის ფილიალი, სადაც დასავლეთ საქართველოს პაციენტებს, ნაკლები დროისა და ფინანსური დანახარჯების პირობებში, იგივე მომსახურების მიღება შეუძლიათ, რაც თბილისში.
2014 წლის 15 სექტემბრიდან ბათუმში გაიხსნა ქართულ-ამერიკული რეპროდუქციული კლინიკა რეპროარტი -ბათუმი, სადაც კლინიკის ყველა სერვისია ხელმისაწვდომი. ბათუმის რეპროარტში ყველა ის ტექნოლოგია გამოიყენება, რაც თბილისსა და მსოფლიოს წამყვან რეპროდუქციულ ცენტრებში არის დანერგილი.
ინ ვიტრო განაყოფიერების მეთოდით მკურნალობის განვითარება რეპროარტის გუნდთან არის დაკავშირებული, რომლებმაც უმნიშნველოვანესი წვლილი შეიტანეს სფეროს განვითარებაში:
2004 წელი – ინტრაციტოპლაზმური სპერმის ინექციის (ICSI – Intracytoplasmic S***m Injection) გამოყენების შედეგად პირველი ბავშვი დაიბადა
2005 წელი – ბლასტოცისტის კულტივირების შედეგად პირველი ბავშვი დაიბადა
2007 წელი – გაყინული ემბრიონის გადატანის შედეგად პირველი ბავშვი დაიბადა
2007 წელი – სუროგაციის პროგრამის გამოყენებით პირველი ბავშვი გაჩნდა
2007 წელი – პირველი ორსულობა მამაკაცის მიკროქირურგიული ოპერაციის შედეგად მიღებული სპერმის გამოყენებით
2016 წელი – პირველად საქართველოში დაიბადნენ ჯანმრთელი ბავშვები პრეიმპლანტაციური გენეტიკური სკრინინგი/დიაგნოსტიკის (PGS/PGD) შემდეგ
The ReproART Georgian-American Center for Reproductive Medicine opened in July 2012. The clinic’s key directions include diagnosing and treating all types of infertility, including the advanced use of in vitro fertilization (IVF). ReproART operates in every area of female and male reproductive health.
ReproART was founded by Lika Chkonia who has the most extensive experience with in vitro fertilization in Georgia (30 years) and 8 years of working in IVF Clinics in US: Jons Institute for Reproductive Medicine, Norfolk, Virginia, USA and OFRM (offices for Fertility and Reproductive Medicine NY, NY, USA).
David H. McCulloh (PhD/H.C.L.D./C.C), Assistant Laboratory Director at New York University’s Fertility Center, is the Director of Clinical Science at ReproART. Dr. McCulloh, the author of numerous academic works, books, and monographs, has been professionally involved in IVF since 1978 and with ReproART since its inception.
The first satellite office of ReproART opened in Kutaisi on February 1, 2014 to provide the many of the same services as in Tbilisi. This enabled patients in Western Georgia. to save time and money. The Kutaisi branch offers treatment of infertility, male and female medical examination, preparation for in vitro fertilization (IVF), intrauterine insemination (IUI), gynecological services, laboratory diagnostics, hormone analysis, ultrasonography, and others. For in vitro fertilization treatments, Kutaisi patients make only a brief visit ( 2- 3 days) to the Tbilisi or Batumi clinics.
The second satellite office, the Batumi ReproART Georgian-American Center for Reproductive Medicine opened on September 15, 2014, offering a full set of services. ReproART Batumi employs the same technologies as in Tbilisi, including a complete embryology lab offering IVF, ICSI and embryo biopsy, just like any leading center for reproductive medicine in the world.
We pioneered techniques of Assisted Reproductive Technologies and celebrated the births of first ICSI, TESA, MESE, Vitrified/Warmed blastocyst babies in Georgia. Excellent results, high pregnancy rate gives us the confidence that we can offer best possible solution for infertility problems.
