I would like to introduce myself and tell you a little of my background. My name is Wendi Tallowin and I am a qualified nutritionist and a past personal trainer and have been helping people lose weight for the last 30 yrs. Without doubt my own eating problems and recovery have shaped my career. My unhealthy relationship with food (that unfortunately progressed into bulimia) began when I was 17. Wh

ilst I was never more than a few stone over weight, there was never a day I was free from thinking about food. I was either strictly adhering to my latest diet (which would inevitably go wrong) or bingeing. At the age of 24 I fell pregnant and somehow found the motivation to stop the binge eating behaviour. A few months later whilst attending an antenatal appointment I discovered I had lost weight. This was my LIGHT BULB MOMENT. I was totally shocked and my first thought was “But I’ve been eating ‘normally’. I was able to include “guilt” foods and still lose weight. Eating “normally” was the key…… who knew? Easy to say but as we know not so easy to do. I’ve developed techniques to help people to be able to eat ‘normally’ but still include those guilt foods and lose weight. My job is to help you to figure out your eating ‘normally’ and discover your own lightbulb moments. I offer one to one sessions and we will cover:


· Understanding of emotional & binge eating & how to stop it

· Understanding of portions

· How to eat ‘normally’ and not diet

· How to structure your daily eating

· How exercise helps if you choose to do it

· A technique to handle cravings

· How to recover if you hit a problem

· Coping with meals out, socialising, takeaways, holiday etc.

· How to maintain your goal weight
