Since we have some Easter Tasters next week we thought we’d share Anna’s thoughts from our first ever taster days we did back in September last year…
“My Baby College Experience from a teachers perspective…
When Ceejay first told me about Baby College I was a little sceptical as I envisioned we would run classes with lots of lights and action and gimmicks however my mind soon changed very fast when I learnt about what Baby College is really about.
As well as a passion for working with children I've also had a curiosity for science. Once the two of these came together my enthusiasm for learning became unstoppable.
Each Baby College lesson is made of 12 to 15 activities backed by university studies and research to build and strengthen the bonds between the neurons in babies brain through movement, sensory exposure, language, and emotional engagement.
I feel proud that we've worked so hard to make this kind of learning available for both babies and parents in Guernsey and can't wait to share these experiences with the parents.
Watching our first taster sessions and seeing our dream come to light has been an incredible experience. I hope you’ve all enjoyed the journey so far, just as much as we have.”
