Ashanti Regional National Ambulance Service Shines at Ashantifest 2025

The Ashanti Regional National Ambulance Service (NAS) played a key role in the maiden edition of Ashantifest 2025, held from April 12–20 across the Ashanti Region.

Launched by the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, Ashantifest was created to promote unity, culture, and development.

The celebration featured everything from clean-up exercises, boxing night, spelling bees, and fashion shows to a cultural day, food bazaar, free health screenings, blood donation, movie night, and a colorful kente festival.

NAS teams were on standby to provide emergency medical services throughout the festival, ensuring the safety of attendees. They also actively took part in the clean-up exercise, blood donation, and JAMA festival- proving that their commitment goes beyond emergency response.

Ashantifest drew dignitaries and celebrities alike- Hon. Kofi Adams (Minister for sports and recreation), Yaw Ampofo Ankrah (Director General of the National Sports Authority), Hon. Akwasi Gyamfi Onyina Acheampong (Mp for Kwabre East), Dr. William Kwame Amankra Appiah (Ashanti regional director of education) and kumawood stars such as Nana Ama Mcbrown, Kwaku Manu, Akaebenezer, Funny face, Yaw Dabo etc., bringing prestige and support to this vibrant celebration.

Ashantifest 2025 was more than a festival; it was a celebration of Ashanti pride, culture, and communal spirit. We’re proud to have played a role in making it a success.
