Just as music is the space between
notes,
just as the stars are beautiful because
of the space between them,
just as the sun strikes raindrops
at a certain angle and throws a prism
of color across the sky-

so the space where I exist, and
want to keep existing,
is exactly this middle distance:
where despair struck pure
otherness and created something
sublime.

Heal yourself my child with
the moon's rays
and the sun's light
Heal yourself my child with
the to-and-fro of the ocean
that comes and goes,
let it hold you,
let it love you.
Heal yourself my child with the
leaves of mint and spearmint,
put love instead of sugar in
your tea, drink it and look au
the stars .
Heal yourself my little one with the
kisses that the wind blows on
you,
the embraces of rain,
with the to-and-fro of the
ocean that comes and goes,
let it hold you
let it love you
Heal yourself my child with this
very gentle love,
light the fire,
offer your sorrows so that
they turn to dust and new
flowers grow...
so turn to dust, all your sorrows
turn to dust
So that fire burns them and
new flowers grow...
Heal your pain my little girl with
the heat of the sun and
the cold of the moon,
sweeten the mornings with
aromas of lavender, rosemary,
eucalyptus
and let calm enter in,
heed your intuition,
look at the whole world with
the eye that you own on your
forehead...
Heal yourself my child with this
very gentle love
and always remember that
you are the medicine.
so turn to dust,
all your sorrows turn to dust
so fire burns them and
new flowers grow...

Don't Tie Money To Your Díck. Stop Paying For Love Or To Be In A Relationship. Stop Renting Pùssy And Sugarcoating It As Girlfriend Allowance. That's Simping For That Wet Crack. Learn From 50 Cent. True Story. Meagan Good Wrote:

"I dâted 50 Cent for a year and he never gave me a dîme. 50 Cent is a nice guy but he doesn't mix his emotions with his money." Meagan Good, 50 Cent's ex reveals

"I've dated alot of men but 50 Cent is the best man I ever dâted. That was like a decade ago when I dâted him and it was like for a year but I kept it secręt. I kept it a secręt because at that time of my career I just just did one of the biggest music videos in my career and it was great. So I kept our relationship secręt so that it wouldn't be like he was associated to my success. I didn't want anything from him and I'm not the kind of person that depends on men. I didn't just want my connection with him to be a catalyst for my success because I've always made my own money. I kept the relationship secręt because I didn't want people to say I depended on him. 50 Cent is a very nice guy but he doesn't jôke with his money. He's a great guy and he's very kind hearted but he doesn't like dependent women." - Meagan Good

50 Cent's Truly Lives By His Words. When Dealing With Women, Charisma Is More Important Than Feeble Gifts And Money. Money Doesn't Sustain Relationship Like Charisma Does. If You Don't Know The Game, You Will Spend Your Whole Generational Wealth And Still Not Recieve Love Or Even Pùssy From Women You Were Trying To Impress. Brother You Won't Díe Just Because You Didn't Get Laid. There Is No Disease That Comes From Séx Drought Or Being A Vìrgín. Be Wise. Spend On Developing Yourself. Grooming Yourself And Knowledge That Will Help You Build A Legacy For Yourself And The Next Generation Of Your Bloodline. Stay Woke Brothers. Stay Focused. Stay Dominant. Stay Masculine.

Professor Wole Soyinka rejects the notion of Chinua Achebe being the "father of African literature". Soyinka, who is a Nobel laureate himself, described calls for a posthumous Nobel Prize for Achebe as "obscene and irreverent".

Soyinka questioned the significance of the Nobel Prize in the context of literary achievement, arguing that it was not the Nobel that inspired Achebe to write his seminal work "Things Fall Apart".

Furthermore, Soyinka dismissed the idea of designating any single author as the "father of African literature", stating that this is a "manifestation of the Nigerian habit of overpraising public figures" and that "African literature could do without this primogenitorial distraction".

Soyinka believes that the "father" designation is a metaphor for Achebe's immense influence and contributions to African literature, but he argues that no single author can claim that title. Soyinka himself has no desire to be considered the "father of African literature" either.

THE FACE OF SARAH BAARTMAN 🖤

The Story of Sarah Baartman of South Africa who had an unusual long backside:

Sarah Baartman, also known as Saartjie Baartman, was a Khosa woman who was born in South Africa in the late 1789. She is famous for being exhibited as a freak show attraction in Éurope in the early 18th century because of her large buttocks, which were considered unusual and exotic at a time.

Baartman was born in the Gamtoos Valley, in what is now the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa. She was a member of the Ķhoikhoi, a group of indigenous people who lived in the region. As a young woman, Baartman was taken from home by a Britísh ship’s doctor, William Dunlop, who promised her work as a servant in Cape Town. However, instead of being employed as a servant, Baartman was taken to England and exhibited as a sideshow attraction under the name “Hottentot Venus.”

Baartman’s large buttocks and elongated l***a were considered unusual and exotic, and she was put on display in London and Paris, where people paid to gawk at her. She was also made to perform various tricks, such as dancing and singing, for the entertainment of spectators. Baartman was treated poorly during this time and was not paid for her performances.

Baartman died of sìphilys in 1815 at the age of 26. She was sèxually assaůlted multiple times and her captors paid in exchange to experience ssehura also known by stage name “ The Hottentot Venus”, and her remains were dissected and put on display in a museum in Paris. In 2002, the South African government successfully campaigned for the return of Baartman’s remains to South Africa, and she was finally laid to rest in 2002.

Baartman’s story is tragic one and serves as a reminder of the exploitation and mistreatment of people of color throughout history. May she rest in everlasting peace. Áse 🙏🏾

If you feel like giving up, read this:

1. This is a Phase.
Tough times are just a phase. They don't last forever. Life is a cycle of highs and lows. Remember, this too shall pass. You're in the middle of the storm now, but clear skies are ahead. Hold on.

2. You Are Stronger Than You Think.
Never underestimate your resilience.

- You've survived 100% of your bad days.
- Inside you, there is an inner strength.
- Your potential is greater than any problem.

Remember, you're stronger and more capable than you believe.

3. Small Steps Count.
Progress isn't always a leap forward. Sometimes it's tiny, almost imperceptible steps. Each step, no matter how small, brings you closer to your goal. Celebrate every bit of progress. Slow and steady can still win the race. Keep moving forward.

4. Remember Your 'Why'.
Think back to the reasons why you started. Reconnect with your motivation and your goals.

5. Failure is a Stepping Stone.
It's okay to fall but it's important to rise again. Every setback brings learning opportunities. Remember, every great success story involves overcoming obstacles. Keep going. Your story is being written.

6. Practice Self-Care.

Self-care is essential, especially during tough times.

- Eat nutritious food
- Exercise regularly
- Get adequate sleep
- Connect with loved ones
- Engage in activities that bring joy.

It’s not selfish, it's survival. Your well-being matters.

7. It's Okay to Ask for Help.
Remember, you're not alone in this journey.

- Reach out to friends, family, or professionals
- Open up about your struggles
- Seek support when you need it

Strength isn't just about enduring in silence. It's also knowing when to ask for help.

To my friends and readers, Fight for yourself. No matter how difficult it becomes, never let yourself give in. After some time, your spark will eventually return. You will come out happier, healthier, and wiser. We are in this together.

In Greek mythology, the Minotaur was a monster with the body of a man and the head and tail of a bull. Due to the monstrous form of the Minotaur, King Minos ordered the craftsman Daedalus and his son Icarus to build a huge labyrinth known as the Labyrinth to house the beast. The Minotaur remained in the Labyrinth receiving annual offerings of young men and maidens to eat. He was eventually killed by the Athenian hero Theseus.
The word Minotaur is a compound word consisting of the ancient Greek name "Minos" and the noun "Ta**us" or "bull." Thus, the word Minotaur comes to mean “bull of Minos.” While the Minotaur"s birth name, Asterion, is ancient Greek for "starry", suggesting an association with the bull constellation: Ta**us.
