In 2015, the United Nations General Assembly officially launched the Sustainable Development Goals. Ghana Institute of Journalism, Ghana's premier Communications instititute, believes that having a sustainable development by 2030 is a collective responsibility. The Faculty of Public Relations, Advertising and Marketing (FOPAM), as part of its CONTRIBUTION towards achieving the SDGs, has launched a term project for students to conceptualize and develop communication campaign tools towards informing, educating and sensitizing some communities in Ghana, about the need to change attitudes and bahaviour towards bad practices that impede the achievement of the SDGs, by 2030.
