EMTAG is the national association for Emergency Medical Technicians and associated practitioners – Emergency Medical Technicians Association of Ghana (E.M.T.A.G.) It is aiming at becoming a high performing medical association due to the rich experience of its members in Ghana and Abroad as emergency medicine practitioners (EMTs and other associate practitioners). We are working hard to compliment
the efforts of the National Ambulance Service (Ministry of Health) and other employers of Emergency Medical Technicians in Ghana in the following areas:
• Education
• Research
• Advocacy
• Development of First Responders Units in companies and communities
• Training in Emergency Response for companies
• Promotion of preventive health (Safety)
