BATTERED OYSTER MUSHROOM RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup soy milk
½ cup water
METHOD
1. Mix flour, baking powder and salt together, add all other dry ingredients.
2. Add soy milk and water slowly and beat until batter is smooth.
3. Dip oyster mushroom into batter, allow excess to drip off.
4. Deep fry until golden brown.
RECIPE NOTE
You can add curry powder, thyme, onion powder, garlic powder or pepper for an extra kick.Stays crispy until the last bite. Makes 2 cups.
