Today, on Earth Day 🌍, let’s remember: protecting our planet also means protecting each other on our roads.

Cleaner air starts with safer streets, less speeding, less congestion, more mindful driving. Every responsible choice behind the wheel is a step toward a healthier Ghana.

At Street Sense, we believe road safety is environmental care in action. Drive safe. Walk safe. Live safe.

Happy Earth 🌍 Day from all of us!!!

You have seen the zebra crossing right? 🚸You probably have used it before but what do the markings actually mean?

📍Zebra crossing is a marked white-and-black striped pedestrian crossing areas designed for safe street crossing, yet they are frequently overlooked by drivers.

Legally, they mean motorists must slow down and stop to give way to pedestrians already on or intending to use the crossing.

When pedestrians are standing at the edge or crossing, drivers must stop, rather than force them to run or wait.

However, many of our drivers fail to respect these crossings, treating them as mere decorations rather than stop zones, which leads to high risks for pedestrians.

What has been your experience using zebra crossing as a pedestrian? We will like to hear from you.

This Easter, we reflect on sacrifice, hope and new beginnings.

Just as Jesus Christ gave His life and rose again, reminding us of the value of every life, we are called to protect and cherish those around us, every single day.

On our roads, that means choosing care over haste:
🚗 Drive responsibly
🚸 Stay alert
🛑 Respect every life

Because every journey matters. Every life matters.

Let this season be a reminder, not just of renewal—but of responsibility.
