Dr. Senyo Yao Klutse-Doe is an educational scientist whose work closely aligns with the themes of neurodiversity and the ongoing
evolution of educational practices. He earned his Ph.D. in Educational Sciences and Training from Université de Lille, France, where his research focused on innovative pedagogical models—most notably the flipped classroom.
His dissertation, titled “La classe inverse: généralités et spécificités selon les disciplines scolaires ,” underscores his deep commitment
to inclusive, adaptive, and student-centred learning environments—principles essential for nurturing neurodiverse learners.
With appreciable experience across diverse educational settings in Ghana, France and Thailand, Dr. Klutse-Doe has developed a rich understanding of how learners
with varying cognitive profiles engage with language and learning processes. He has expertly designed and delivered customised teaching programmes that integrate communicative and task-based learning methodologies, fostering learner engagement, independence, and well-being for students with a broad range of needs.
His expertise in didactics and learning sciences highlights the vital importance of creating educational spaces that recognise and celebrate individual strengths while offering flexible and supportive learning pathways. Through his active collaborations

Neurodevelopmental Pediatrician who has been working in the Neurodevelopmental field for over 15 years. She also holds a Msc
in Psychology from the Liverpool John Moore University, UK, a fellowship in Developmental
Pediatrics from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada and is currently a doctoral student in Infant and Early Childhood
Development at Fielding Graduate University, Santa Barbara, CA, USA. She is currently the Medical Director and CEO of Mission Pediatrics a Specialist Children’s Hospital with emphasis on Neurodevelopmental conditions.
She works with a Neuropsychological multidisciplinary team to provide diagnosis and management for children with developmental conditions.
Her research interest includes factors that affect child development, and how to support children who are differently abled to achieve their full potential.

A panelist who is passionate about technology, entrepreneurship, and specializes in planning and managing venture accelerator programs and projects tailored for startups. With extensive experience in the venture development space, Gabriel has played a key role in the success of multiple accelerators including the UNICEF StartUp Lab, MEST Express, MEST Scale and the Mastercard Foundation EdTech Fellowship. His professional journey includes supporting over 100 startups and SMEs across various sectors, to develop, strengthen and scale their solutions. In his current role as a Senior Associate at MEST Africa, Gabriel supports the running of the Mastercard Foundation EdTech Fellowship, an accelerator program that supports EdTech companies in Ghana to expand their reach and impact, ensuring access for all educators and learners, including persons with disabilities.

Up next, we are honored to welcome Mrs. Joana D.A. Kyeremateng, our next patron and speaker at the Neurodiversity Fair 2025.

She is a seasoned public health professional and disability advocate with over a decade of experience advancing inclusive policies for persons with disabilities in Ghana. She has shaped national frameworks, from co-establishing the Centre for Disability and Rehabilitation Studies (CEDRES) at KNUST to contributing to Ghana’s National Social Protection Policy.

Her leadership spans convening the first National Disability Conferences, influencing disability-responsive systems, and specializing in community-based care for children with cerebral palsy. Currently, she leads CARA (Care Access for Resilient Africa), a nonprofit empowering families and communities to deliver inclusive care, while also driving projects in digital transformation within the legal sector.

Joana joins the Neurodiversity Fair as Patron and Advisor, bringing her cross-sectoral expertise and commitment to building a society where neurodiverse individuals can thrive.

A Senior Lecturer at the School of Continuing and Distance Education, University of Ghana, and a Licensed Counselling Psychologist. He leads the CERES@Scale Research Lab at UG, leveraging domain knowledge in Learning Sciences, including psychometrics, instructional design, and digital media, to explore intersections between evidence, practice, and policy impacting children’s global learning crisis, sustainability, and competency-based education in marginalised communities. Gideon has consulted for many global partners in education (GPE). He celebrates transdisciplinary knowledge with PhD and MPhil degrees in Counselling Psychology, MBA in Human Resource Management, Master of Education and B.A. (Hons.) Psychology with Archaeology.

Dr. Erica Danfrekua Dickson (MBChB, PhD) is a Physician Clinical Psychologist with 31 years of clinical experience, 26 of which are in mental health. She is the Head of the Therapy and Wellness Department at the 37 Military Hospital, where she leads clinical care, training of psychologists and mental health program development. She is also a Director of Serene Oasis, extending her expertise into community wellness.

Dr. Dickson’s extensive career spans clinical service, research, and teaching. She has provided psychosocial care and training for national and international organizations, developed mental health policies for institutions, and supervised future generations of psychologists. Her research interests include neurodevelopmental disorders, non-communicable diseases, su***de, and psychosocial dimensions of health.

A transformational leader and advocate for inclusive mental health, Dr. Dickson combines medical knowledge with psychological practice to deliver holistic, client-centered care. She continues to contribute to academia as a lecturer and clinical supervisor, while also serving on professional boards and advisory committees that shape mental health policy in Ghana and beyond.

Dr. Evelyn F. Kissi is a Critical Disability Studies scholar, educator, and community-engaged practitioner whose work bridges Ghana and Canada. She is a Lecturer at the University of Ghana's Department of Teacher Education and holds a PhD in Critical Disability Studies from York University. Her research and teaching focus on inclusive education, African Indigenous knowledge systems, decolonial care, and the intersections of disability, race, and gender. She is also a consultant on anti-Black racism and early childhood education policy, and serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Graduate Program in Critical Disability Studies at York University.
