It’s been four years already, since I left the corporate world to be an entrepreneur!
Looking back on my entrepreneurial journey, these past 4 years have been filled with highs, lows, and invaluable lessons. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that success in entrepreneurship requires resilience, adaptability, and a willingness to embrace change.
✨ Resilience - because I am completely committed to my vision.
✨ Adaptability - constantly adjusting to new challenges and market demands.
✨ Embracing change - thinking outside the box has been key to thriving in this unpredictable space.
I’ve had to pivot, not by straying from my vision, but by expanding it in ways that create a stronger, more sustainable foundation.
Starting out, my primary goal was to build an authentic African Beauty Brand that truly caters to African skin and hair - Enam Cosmetics.
However, I recognized a skill gap in cosmetics formulation in Ghana. Rather than ignore it, I stepped up to fill the gap, training individuals and groups to ensure people learned the right way - because if they don’t, they risk harming people’s skin and hair.
At the same time, businesses began reaching out to ask if I offered private labeling and contract manufacturing services. Instead of turning them away, I embraced the opportunity and opened my doors to them.
It’s been fulfilling these past few years providing cosmetics contract manufacturing and private labeling services for some cosmetics, pharmaceutical and clinical companies in Ghana.
I also offer contract formula development and product development consulting to individuals and startups globally.
