This a true story.
Just be patient and read all the WhatsApp messages I have exchanged with this person.

In March I was contacted buy a lady (she never introduced herself) regarding a gated community cat that was paralysed after a car run over her. She was looking for a safe place for her and her 2 kittens.
I accepted to take them also if my house was full of cats and I don't have a single room just for myself.
She arrived with a big American car complaining that she has spend 1 and half hour driving from her house in the "Airport Residential Area" and she dropped the mother and the 2 kittens.
I never spoke to her previously about receiving a support for them. I have now the duty to feed 3 cats all their natural lives long and later, spay and neuter them. I was thinking it was obvious that I will receive some kind of support for the help I gave her to find a permanent home for the cats. She left without leaving any donations in cash or food to support them.
When I sent her a message about donation she responded "donations?" 😳
Like I was talking about UFO.
I sent her the link of my FB, Instagram and NGO website to let her understand the type of volunteer work I was doing. With only a little help of some regular donors. (Thank you all, me dear donors♥️)
The great donation she sent was 200 cedis and when I suggested that perhaps she could tried to talk with the other expats living there, she blocked me.on WhatsApp.
Moral of the story....the more they have the less are they willing to give.

My beautiful Tupac is only a shadow of himself. He refuses to eat because it's very painful. He suffers of feline stomatis. (FGS).
It's a severe, painful inflammation of mouth and gums. Symptoms include drooling, weight loss, anorexia, foul breath, bloody excess saliva, and severe halitosis.
The immuno system overreacts to bacteria and plaque to teeth, acting as the teeth were foreign bodies.

This is the type of person I'm willing and happy to help!
Not strangers who dump 7 kittens in the night or rich people who surrender 3 cats and leave without any donations.
This guy brought this cat because he was moving back to his region after the graduation.
His cat was well kept and the vaccination book updated.
He was crying surrendering his cat and I really felt pity for him. He also donated 300 cedis for the cat's upkeeping.
Behind every cat who arrives here there is a story. Sometimes a story of love and necessity, but most of the times stories of neglect abandone and cruelty.
As NGO, really we need to build a proper place for them.
My house if full of cats, only few regular donations are coming in and every day I struggle to feed them.
What make me more angry are the rich people who surrender cats and don't donate anything for their maintenance.
The more the people are rich the less they understand my situation or they are willing to help.

This is the cat number 21 since beginning of 2026.. in total they are over 70.
