At age 15 I had a rare opportunity to join the Ghana National Under-17 football training camp at Winneba. There were 30-40 players at the camp trying to justify their inclusion into the final team. Some players had been identified by the coaches as 'key players' so anytime we stepped out for training they were the ones who participated in the drills while some of us were asked to run around the field .
About 10 days in camp I had not even kicked a ball. We were just running and watching the key players pratice the drills. While I was off the field I paid critical attention to whatever the coach said during the drills. At a point in time , the coach got frustrated at the non-performance of one of the players so he started looking for replacement. Thankfully , our eyes met and he asked me to replace that player . I remember, though we had just about 15 minutes to close, I made sure I implemented everything I learnt during the 10 days of watching and listening. That was how I earned my spot in the team ~ Sulley Ali Muntari (Translated from Twi and Paraphrased by TangibleWord Blog)
Now, this 👆 is how to "wait on the Lord" .
Wait on the LORD: Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord. Psalm 27:14 KJV .Mileydailey🌹
