The Joy of Giving

If you never take time to understand the principle of giving, you will continue to perceive it as a burden, something to be avoided at all cost.

Every time I listen to a sermon touching on giving, the minister has to start by apologizing or giving a disclaimer that they dont intend to exploit the audience. Now, this sorry situation is understandable because people have been shown dust by exploitative “pastors”. But still, this does not change certain truths about giving.

1. Giving is one of the things that can bring fulfillment to your life. In fact, it s a form of self-care, and I strongly encourage my clients to do it, specifically those with whom we reach at peak of therapy. Because once you deal with your traumas, the next thing you need to do is uphold selfcare. Beyond that, many of the happiest people we have in society are selfless givers.

2. Giving can give your life meaning, a reason to show up to it every day. You can have a lot of money and still be miserable. Same as a good job, a family, property, and so on. But when you continually and voluntarily give, you become a blessing to people. A good starting point would be to ask yourself what you will be remembered for, your legacy when you leave this world.

3. For the believers, giving is a kingdom principle, by which what you have is multiplied. Similarly, it is a form of worship to God. I wont expand more on this, for I believe there are people who can do it better.

What if I dont have anything to give? No one who is alive and healthy has nothing to give. You can give virtually anything. Time, energy, skill, money, attention, etc. As long as you give cheerfully and your motive is right, it will pour back to you.

How about those who manipulate and exploit you? Well, that is not the kind of giving we are talking about here. In fact, it is not giving, it is exploitation and manipulation. That one you should never fall for it.

Again, giving is one of the best things you can ever do, for other people and for yourself.

Meet a Wonderful Woman

I want to introduce myself for the sake of my new followers who dont know me.

My name is Jeniffer Kiarie. A born again Christian, God's instrument for His work, a wife (married for over a decade), and a mother to three children, 13+, 9, and 3.5.

I am a counsellor/therapist, a relationships coach and a life coach. I am also a conference and other events' speaker.

I am so passionate about healing, loving right, and living a fulfilling life. Every single day, I help people heal and make the right decisions, either my clients who I take through online sessions, those who inbox me, or on my social media platforms.

I have no ounce of doubt that what I do is what I was created to do at this point and time. I know because i work in close association with the One I call the Owner of the Assignment. My God.

Many cant believe it but I am a very accommodating person. I wasn't always like this. Healing and becoming a therapist molded me into it. It is a major requirement for my work (because we meet people of all kind) but over time and as i healed, it has spilt over to my personal life. However, there is a line. The moment something or someone starts to take away my peace.

I believe life is beautiful but to experience it in full and enjoy it, we need to shed unnecessary baggage.

I am an ambitious woman who believes a giant lies within me and that all I need is to gradually wake it up till I bring out my highest potential. This is also what I desire to inspire my followers into doing.

Oh, and i believe everyone deserves another chance, at love...and at life.

Welcome on board and let's to do this ❤️❤️❤️
