SHEplus

SHEplus SHE+ is a platform designed to engage, educate and inform young people about their sexual and reproductive health and rights needs. Welcome to SHEplus!

SHEplus is a platform where young Ghanians can engage in discussions and acquire knowledge on sexual health education. We aim to provide our followers with right-based SRHR information to enable them to make right choices, assist them with information and link them to SRHR services and commodities. SHEplus provides an interactive platform for young people to discuss and share SRHR knowledge, information and experiences to get young people empowered to make informed decisions about their sexuality. We believe in the right to one's opinion, it is therefore important to keep a fair and just tone in the commentary field. Everyone on this platform is entitled to their opinion and we hope that, people would respect the opinions of others as we discuss sensitive issues on this platform. Please note that, the use of abusive language may lead to removal of comments and/or being removed from the platform. We hope to experience interesting discussions and to learn from different experiences. Join the SHEplus discussion today!

On Monday, the 8th of December, SHE+ teamed up with SWIDA GH and GEM-GHANA for an inspiring workshop under the against Technology-Facilitated Gender-Based Violence.

A lot was learned and shared, from understanding , knowing the legal protections available in Ghana, spotting the different forms of , and exploring digital safety tips, to looking at real statistics.

We didn’t stop there, we worked together on a Community Digital Safety Strategy and launched an Influencers Digital Safety Network, because young voices are powerful when they’re informed and protected.

Digital spaces should lift women up, not silence them.
They should build confidence, not fear.
They should open doors to leadership, not shut them.

We’re calling on every stakeholder, community leaders, tech companies, policymakers, and young advocates to stand with and online.
Ending also means ending .

Let’s stand together for safety, respect, and justice. Don’t share harmful content. Don’t enable digital violence. Protect her rights.

If you’ve experienced deepfakes or online harassment, SHE+ is here to support you.
