[True Story – Part 4]
Eight years ago, something unforgettable happened. In front of our mission center, a bus headed for Nigeria overturned, leaving many passengers injured and stranded with nowhere to go. Without hesitation, we opened the doors of our Taekwondo training center to welcome them in.
Over the next few days, we served them with everything we had. One by one, I treated their pain with acupuncture, while we provided warm meals and a place of safety. It wasn’t just about healing their bodies—it was about restoring hope.
Among the many who touched my heart, I especially remember a young woman who had lost the use of her arm. Through long-needle acupuncture, we were able to help her regain movement. When she lifted her arm again, everyone in the room cheered with joy and tears. It was a moment of shared healing—both physical and spiritual.
As they prepared to leave, they hugged us with gratitude, their eyes filled with emotion. Though they continued on their journey, I still carry each of them in my heart. I believe they are all living well now, by God’s grace.
Hallelujah!
