By the grace of God, on Friday 21st October 2022, Benekie Foundation had the opportunity to educate female pupils and teachers of Wisdom Ways Academy at Boshye (off the Atomic-Haatso road) on breast cancer 🎀
Their proprietor, Mr. Solomon Yamoah made it possible and we are grateful to him.
It was a great moment with them. The pupils are very intelligent and they asked very good questions and they received the appropriate answers.
We believe an early education and knowledge about the disease is a good way to preventing it.
We shared some materials on NCDs prepared by the Ghana Non-Communicable Alliance for further reading and we are grateful for that.
We hope to get more opportunities and resources to make this awareness possible in other schools.
