SAFE FOOD, HEALTHY NATION

GOOD HYGIENE IN FOOD HANDLING IS NOT JUST A PRACTICE, IT'S A PUBLIC HEALTH RESPONSIBILITY.

Today, we engaged food handlers at Jahanka "Lumo" to strengthen hygienic practices during food preparation, handling, and sales.

The activity involved direct observation of food handling practices, interactive discussions with vendors and onsite health education at the market.

WE MOVE A STEP CLOSER TO A HEALTHIER COMMUNITY AND A HEALTHIER NATION BY WORKING TOGETHER WITH VENDORS.

EARLY DETECTION SAVES LIVES!

Today, our team conducted an Active Case Search at Jahanka Community.

We reviewed clinic records and engaged healthcare workers to identify priority diseases.

Early Detection helps us to act quickly, prevent outbreaks and protect the health of our communities.

We remained committed to a healthier Nation through prevention, early detection and rapid response.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AT BANTANTO

Our efforts continued towards creating awareness. On Wednesday 30th July, 2025, we visited Bantanto, in CRR.

Topics discussed were:
Mpox: its signs, symptoms, mode of transmission, and prevention.
Birth Registration: its requirements, who can be registered, and why it matters.

IMPORTANCE
Birth Registration is a fundamental right. It provides children with legal identity, access to healthcare, education, and protection under the law.

Creating awareness saves lives!
We empower communities through health education with knowledge to prevent diseases like Mpox and ensure every child is registered and protected.

Together, we are building a more informed and healthier community.
