That's why we advocate for the entire family to provide the counseling and therapy needed to allow for rest and respite care.

😍FUN FACT: We don't just talk it, we live and love it! My niece to the right, has a G-tube!

Supporting families from inserting G-tubes, catheters, figuring out the best adaptive clothing, traveling accommodations to schooling, we aren't only trained to provide but have learnt from our experiences with our own family what works best and what doesn't.

It's a part of why we are passionate about creating a space and sharing information that can help you to navigate the lifestyle you lead when you have medically fragile children.

⚠️IT'S FRIDAY FUN DAY🤩

When working with children, as social workers we use a variety of modalities including talk, reading books, play, and art to allow the child opportunities for self-expression. It's important to deposit good memories, they sometimes last a lifetime.

👶🏽Cultivating fun and play with your child:
💫 Have a dance party💃🏽
💫 Movies and snacks always a hit🍿
💫 Candyland, Yahtzee, Monopoly, there's a board game that will be a fave!
💫 Puppets, Stuffed animals and masks
💫 Bake a sweet treat together, have fun and make it tasty with lots of sprinkles 😋

It doesn't take a lot for children to enjoy themselves.

"On the home front, meanwhile, these parents are feeding their kids through gastronomy tubes. Changing diapers. Cleaning IV ports. Scheduling appointments. Spending days on the phone with insurance companies battling for medications, supplies, therapies and nursing care. These acts of love are their daily advocacy. There is no time to take a breather, no putting it off till tomorrow."
