Inside and outside Psychology and Neuroscience but also bits and pieces I find interesting - stuff about "inside" and "outside".

The rate by which knowledge is currently produced is, well, impressive. Even though we're accumulating more specialised knowledge, I've a strong need to develop a good grounding in disciplines other than my primary field of specialization. I am a psychologist and systemic family therapist and I believe that I can practice psychology and psychotherapy a lot more efficiently (and responsibly) if I c

ultivate a more comprehensive understanding of human nature. I am seeking to further develop my familiarity with as diverse fields as medicine, chemistry, theories of personality, neuroscience, poetry, pharmacology, history, dance and sociology (not to become a doctor, for example, but to be able to more effectively cooperate with one to help a patient). Obviously I have no intention of elevating this personal preference of mine to a universal standard. Therefore this page acts like a personal bookshelf where I store stuff I come across as I'm wandering in other pages but also stuff I find on the web about Neuroscience, psychology, psychotherapy, medicine but also anything related to the human condition like poetry, herbalism, capoeira and politics. If there's anything you might end up finding interesting too, that'd be great.
