We want to celebrate 10 years of Tao & Ta**ra with you by offering two new, unique events: Sacred Union and Horizons.

Sacred Union is a 3-day intensive workshop for couples, August 22nd to 24th, 2025 in Eressos, Lesvos, Greece.

Sacred union is a term used in Ta**ra to describe the pinnacle moment of the merging of the divine forces of Shiva & Shakti, the sacred masculine and feminine principles regarded as the foundation of all interactions in the universe.

Couples working together as intimacy is revealed, enlivened, integrated and refined is such a powerful force that resonates to the larger community and into the world.

In this workshop we will:

~ create a vital, healing space where relating creates transformation

~ learn to use sensuality, conscious touch and massage to create intimacy

~ utilize the trust and love of our partner and the power of our own longing to evolve a sense of self that can only be achieved in relationship to a beloved

~ use music, dance and our unique environment to evoke primal passions

~ use rite, prayer and meditation to create rituals of ecstasy, beauty and truth

~ use inquiry, one-to-one relating and ritual to resolve repetitive mistakes in relating

~ use meditation to pe*****te those primal mysteries and compassion to resolve old belief patterns

~ learn to tap universal reserves of energy to create a life that is a work of art

If you have worked with us before you will recognise the container we create together to provide a safe foundation for joy, openness and transformation, in which we learn:

~ why sexuality is sacred
~ simple exercises for health, vitality and relaxation
~ about men’s and women’s or***ms
~ techniques of self-awareness and pleasure
~ to accept limitations and reject outdated self- perceptions
~ to create depth, spaciousness and potential in relationship
~ to become aware of one’s longing for authentic expression

Experienced couples may be able to join this workshop without having to attend Horizons, our workshop which immediately preceeds Sacred Union.

We just finished a very sweet and profound 6 day workshop at OSHO Afroz Meditation Center called Essence of Desire with 24 courageous and beautiful souls. So much openness now and so many opportunities for reflection and self mastery to come for us all. It was truly a global space we all created together as hearts came from Greece, Turkey, Italy, France, Germany, Ukraine, Russia, Isreal, Sweden, the US and Slovenia.
We already invite you back for next year's event!

“Why darkness, you ask?

The darkness protects you, my love.

You bury the pieces of yourself too frightening to face, bury them in the night and fog until you are ready to face them. So you don’t ever have to bear what you cannot yet bear, or feel what you are not yet ready to feel. It’s intelligent, this burial.

But then you forget. You forget that the Underworld is only made of abandoned pieces of you. You forget that YOU were the one who put the pieces there. It was your own creation, the monstrous Hell realm, the devils and the dragons.

These lost and frightened fragments are forever longing to return to you. The darkness seeks you!

It will haunt you, stalk you, follow you wherever you go. You cannot run, for it is all you, all the abandoned pieces of your great and ancient heart, all needing help, longing for integration, crying out for inclusion in a bigger self.

I promise you, I promise you, in the depths of your most terrible despair and loneliness, in the bulging eyes of the most hideous monster chasing you, if you stop, and turn to face it, and just look hard enough, when you are ready, and not a moment before, if you just look hard enough, and through the eyes of love, you will see... yourself. Not death there, but life. Not destruction, but absolute safety. You will see your own kind eyes smiling back at you, a safe place within the trauma.

Your salvation lies in the darkness, you see, and its salvation lies within you! You are One, you always were. No separation!

Nothing to fear but the loss of all fear! Let the darkness have you my love, breathe into its sacred core, give it what it cries for, and you will feel the most extraordinary Power, know the most blinding Light!
