Dr. Aikaterini Zisaki, Quality Assurance Management Systems & Regulatory Affairs Specialist at PKNM Solutions Sàrl- offered exclusive insights into the EU regulatory landscape shaping our work ⚖️.
Sverre Sandberg, Head of Noklus discussed the pre- and post- market analytical performance for the novel devices and tests by healthcare providers and lay persons, as well as the evaluation of the quality and the user friendliness.
Esperanza Díaz Pérez, Director of the Pandemic Centre, UiB and Prof. at the Universitetet i Bergen touched upon the project’s social aspects and discussed the public and experts’ perspectives on testing in the future deployment of our novel tools.
Youmna M'ghirbi, Associate Prof. from the Institut Pasteur de Tunis - معهد باستور تونس– gave insights on their ongoing research in the surveillance studies of emerging viruses in humans and insects.
We also had the pleasure of speaking with Tamara Giles-Vernick, Director of Research and Head of the Anthropology and Ecology of Disease Emergence- Institut Pasteur, who gave an overview on a key piece of the puzzle faced by UniHealth: the engagement, preparedness and response of the society to epidemics/pandemics.
Jan Felix Drexler, Prof. at the Institute of Virology - Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin unveiled the major aspect of the clinical evaluation of the specific viruses-assays with the devices using crude patients’ samples and animal specimens.
