Who needs Greek summer when Thessaloniki shines in winter?!

Just stepped into a fairy tale here! Agia Sofia's got that same charm as Glasgow's Merchant Square, minus the rain (major win!).

Those Christmas lights around Princes Square were always special. Now, Agias Sofias promenade is my happy holidays place.

Street art, yummy eats, and NYX cosmetics (, you have my attention!).

Plus she is ENTIRELY traffic free and so smooth for the wheelchair...needing to work on the accessibility to the shops but is one spot has that covered!!!

And any accessible hotel in the area is more than obliging for a ♿️♿️♿️ toileting emergency.

Thessaloniki's winter magic is real!

Shockingly...only loosened the birthday giftcard!

Not because I’ve suddenly achieved monk-level impulse control, but because living with MND comes with those fun ‘up to triple the normal cost of living’ extras no one advertises...

Since I currently have zero access to public welfare in Greece until the neuro tests are done (excellent system, 10/10, super safe, very normal), every cent is basically living on the edge.

Rushing to judgement in stories of inter-partner violence can cause more harm than good. Survivors, especially disabled ones, need space to share their experiences in their own time and on their own terms. Listening without assumptions and respecting that choice is one of the simplest ways to prevent further harm.
