Aloha friends and ohana,

It hurts me to ask, but our family humbly ask for help with funeral costs and medical bills for my dad and our family. My dad was a simple man. He didn’t have life insurance, or a retirement fund, or even savings to support his family in time of need. He has been on disability for years due to injuries and surgeries to his back, and spine. He would survive on social security, and was unable to save money due to his fixed income.

With this tragic, and sudden event, loosing him to a drunk driver at the young age of 69, and the injuries sustained by his step daughter, Mikayla, who is on a long, hard road to recovering from this horrific accident. Mikayla was in the car at the time of the accident. She has sustained head injuries, broken ribs, and other physical and psychological damage. She will take time to heal. She was also a financial contributor to the family, so she will not be able to work, or possibly ever work again. We are praying for her speedy recovery, but it will take time.

We humbly ask our friends, ohana, and community to come together to help alleviate some of the financial burden that we, as a family has incurred, and will incur in the upcoming months and years. It pains me to ask for charity from you all, but we have no other means to handle the beast standing before us. Please help if you can. Every little bit counts! Every donation will be greatly appreciated.

I pray that you will find it in you heart to help, and that God blesses your generosity ten fold. I pray for peace within your lives, and healing upon those who seek it. Please bless us one and all. Aloha mau a mau ke akua ia kakou!

This reminds me of Arthur McFarlane’s dream library. Filled with antiques (hard copy books) his best friend Rudy says he will no longer pack. So Bamboo Gate Farm is the last residence.

I absolutely love history, but especially Egyptian history. As a kid, my nickname was Tutti after King Tut.

I remember there was a lot of information on television in 1969 about King Tut and the curse, and the beautiful items found in 1922. 

The Face of Seti I.
Seti I's face is one of the best preserved in all of Ancient Egyptian history. He died 3,298 years ago and reigned while on one of Egypt's wealthiest peaks. One of the most famous pharaohs of all time, II. He was Ramses' father. The greatest pharaoh of all time. When he died, Egyptian Mummification was at the pinnacle of absolute perfection.
It is generally considered the best preserved mummy in the world.
