Our Emergency Room uses a structured Patient Flow System to manage and prioritize care. This ensures that the most critical cases are treated right away, while other patients are guided through each step of assessment, registration, treatment, and follow-up.

Waiting is sometimes inevitable, but by following this flow, we help reduce unnecessary delays and avoid long waits.

Please remember: the Emergency Room is designed for urgent and life-threatening cases.
For minor or non-urgent issues, we encourage you to visit your nearest Health Centre for faster care.

Condoms prevent most sexually transmitted infections, including HIV. Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) prevents HIV but not other sexually transmitted infections.

Choose both for maximum protection!

Even if you feel great, some health problems don’t show obvious symptoms. That’s why prenatal tests are so important!

Expect:
📸 Ultrasound – See your baby’s growth!
🩸 Blood & urine tests – Check for infections & anaemia
🔬 Blood pressure & glucose screening – Prevent complications
🤰🏾 Regular baby monitoring – Ensure a safe delivery

Every test is a step toward a healthy pregnancy. Work with your health worker to ensure you get the care you need, when you need it. 💕

Preeclampsia is associated with both maternal and fetal complications. It is a leading cause of maternal deaths. Monitoring Bp’s in pregnancy is important as well as learning symptoms that are associated with severe forms of preclampsia.

Pregnancy is an ideal time to get familiar with your blood pressure, understand your normal numbers, check it regularly, log your readings and share it with your provider, especially if you have high blood pressure readings.

Less than 140/90: Keep checking your blood pressure and learn what your normal is
Between 140-159/90-109: Call your provider and ask what they would like you to do
More than 160/110: Go straight to labor & delivery or the emergency room. Report that you are pregnant or recently gave birth and ask to see an obstetrician

Note: a blood pressure reading of 10-15 above your normal baseline is also cause for concern.

Please collect your vouchers and use the opportunity to check your health. I can safely say, these vouchers, especially the HPV vouchers have already started to make an impact. I have seen so many women being diagnosed with high risk HPV, that after further testing, have prevented cervical cancers, and in orders, they were able to have an earlier diagnosis, and receive treatment that will potentially cure their cancers.

Check your eligibility for the Ministry of Health vouchers and make the most of what’s available to you. Check the poster for details!
