August 9, the 20th CMT visited the Swan Village, Region 4, to provide free medical outreach and donate some medical supplies.

This marked the final stop of the "Healthy Village" series of free medical activities jointly carried out by the current CMT in collaboration with Guyana's Ministry of Amerindian Affairs and Ministry of Health. So far, the current CMT has provided health services to residents in 10 remote villages, fulfilling ours firm commitment to the health of the local people.

Mr.Fintonragonauth, the Chairman of Swan Village expressed his gratitude for the services provided by successive Chinese medical teams in the village. Team leader of the 20th CMT, Dr.Bob Du thanked the staff of the Ministry of Amerindian Affairs and local medical workers for their assistance in ensuring the smooth implementation of the medical team's work.

Dr.Du stated that the warm hospitality of the local residents during the series of the free medical consultations left a deep impression on us, and also made all team members feel the mission and responsibility of helping the local residents with their health, further strengthening our belief in international medical care with boundless love.

At the end of next month, a new batch of Chinese medical team will arrvie in Guyana. We will conduct a smooth handover with them to ensure the continuity of this meaningful work.

July 31, some members of the 20th CMT were invited to Anna Regina, Region 2, to provide traditional Chinese medical treatment for a patient with decreased muscle strength in all limbs.

July 26, the 20th CMT arrived at Caria Caria Village in Region 3 to conduct a free medical outreach. This marked the 9th stop of the "Healthy Village" series of free medical activities jointly carried out by the current CMT in collaboration with Guyana's Ministry of Amerindian Affairs and Ministry of Health. The Toshao Mr. Compton Klass from Caria Caria Village stated that this was the first time a Chinese medical team had visited the village. The villagers warmly welcomed the medical team with freshly picked local fruits. Healthy worker Ms. Everly Sampson accepted the medical supplies donated by the medical team on behalf of the village.
It is worth mentioning that when the medical team learned that local resident Wendell Gabson was unable to come to the free medical consultation site due to acute pain, the CMT members took a speedboat to his home, provided diagnosis and treatment, and gave him medicines.

July 23, The 20th CMT (Linden team) was invited to participate in the Medical Drive held at Mackenzie Police Station Division(10) Headquarters and provided health consultation services for local police officers.

July 21, The 20th CMT (Linden team) donated medical supplies worth over USD 30k to Linden Hospital Complex (LHC). Members of the CMT, Counselor Li Hanqing from the Chinese Embassy to Guyana, and Dr. Kennard James, Medical Director of LHC, attended the donation ceremony.
