My version of 59, menopausal, no filter, no diet, no secrets.✌🏻
What I can share with you is that maintaining a fit body at every age is possible with a CONSISTENT healthy lifestyle. Genetics play a small role but it’s up to each person to become their best self by making healthy choices.
We’re all grownups and understand what’s nutritious and what’s not and we also know it’s better to be active than sedentary. There’s no magic to being fit and healthy. It comes down to stop eating crap and exercise a few times per week. And this doesn’t happen unless you make it happen.
It’s never too late to start and it’s never too late to start over.
Some helpful tips below:
👉🏻Start slow
👉🏻Keep an accountability journal
👉🏻Track your food in the beginning
👉🏻Lift weights at least 2x weekly
👉🏻Go for a daily walk
👉🏻Reduce alcohol consumption
👉🏻Eat intuitively
👉🏻Don’t go back for seconds
👉🏻Be mindful of portion size
👉🏻Hire a qualified personal trainer or fitness coach to get you started
