Heal is an integrative care centre for domestic animals in Hong Kong and the first of its kind dedicated solely to providing step-down care for animals. With a focus on rehabilitation and preventive therapies, our specialist services include hydrotherapy, clinical massage and acupressure to help manage chronic conditions such as osteoarthritis, hip/ elbow dysplasia and degenerative myelopathy. Our tailored programmes also help animals with post-surgical recovery and in promoting general fitness. That is why we demand specialised professional training for our therapists and are investing in a state-of-the-art facility that is conveniently located in Sai Ying Pun on Hong Kong island. We are deeply committed to the health and welfare of Hong Kong's animals and want to provide more options for them to stay fit and healthy so that they can enjoy good quality of life. Our goal is to make such care services available, accessible and affordable. Our long-term vision is to be recognised as a centre of excellence in Asia for compassionate, professional integrative care in animal health management.

An offhand remark from a client we’ve been seeing for years, finally made me stop to think about how much time I spend in the water 🤔
⌚️6-8 hours a day
📆 6 days a week
🗓️ average 48 weeks a year
🌼☀️🍁❄️ 8 years…
I hate having gaps in between so I eat breakfast, lunch and teatime poolside… so I can’t do the pool math anymore 🤣🤣 But I think it’s time to spend more time dry-side…

We had a date for September 29, Skittle and I… and I was really looking forward to taking her on laps around our new pool. But she couldn’t wait and decided to earn her wings instead over the weekend 🌈❤️

In my journey as a therapist, Skittle will always be my most special teacher. Skittle was a skittish dog and when we first met, she was also a little painful. So she was always wary of me - and for months, would not let me touch her. So our swims were a little challenging at first. But as with most relationships, we slowly grew on each other 🥰 and learnt to trust one another. This photo, where I was eventually able to not just touch her but also massage her, was a really big deal. It was months of work, persistence and patience. It was huge progress for us. So thank you Skittle for helping me be better than I was yesterday ❤️ Fly high now. Until we meet again ❤️

We’ll love you even when you’re old and creaky ❤️
It never ceases to amaze me to see so many geriatric pets well into their teens in Hong Kong and it’s a testament to the incredible care, love (and nutrition!) that they get at home ❤️ I am always grateful to be a part of that journey. If I can keep one more senior moving and extend their quality of life by maintaining mobility and keeping pain at bay, I consider it a great day. Best job ever!

I’m now in the wrong position after he decided to flip over, my back hurts from having to reach around him and the leg is start to cramp 🤪 But what to do?? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Krugie the lab is so comfortable now from his massage I just have to stay this way until he decides it’s time to get up! 🤣
