香港聖約翰救傷隊 - 新界總區 香港聖約翰救護機構 是一個歷史悠久的慈善團體，始於 1884 年服務香港市民

香港聖約翰救傷會創立於 1884 年，隨後救傷隊及理事會分別於 1916 年及 1949 年成立，本著不分種族、階級、信仰的宗旨、竭誠為人類服務。聖約翰的工作包括為公眾人士提供急救及緊急救護車服務、為老人或有特殊需要人仕提供免費牙科服務和教導市民學習急救、家居護理等訓練。

自成立以來，香港聖約翰依據香港法例第 1047 章運作，並規範於英國聖約翰總部的指令和規例，奉英女皇為聖約翰組織最高領導。

有見於 1997 年的香港主權移交，香港聖約翰須蛻變為一獨立團體，不再規範於英國聖約翰的指令，以確保香港聖約翰的服務及運作得以順利過渡。因此，香港聖約翰救護機構法團條例第 1164 章於 1997 年 6 月 27 日在立法局獲通過。在新法例下，舊有的理事會，救傷會及救傷隊合併為單一法團，並採用香港聖約翰救護機構的法團名稱，服務性質維持不變。
