唔經唔覺,Stay屋企HK已經陪伴咗大家由2022年嚟到2025年喇。Stay屋企HK亦已於今年4月正式功成身退。

全民抗疫及健康推動計劃自2022年起旨於鼓勵大眾留喺屋企防疫,讓屋企喺疫情期間及過後都可以成為一個快樂舒適嘅地方。

喺呢段期間,好感謝大家一直以來嘅支持,同踴躍參加我哋嘅社交平台活動。

雖然Stay屋企HK已經完結,但亦都希望大家可以繼續「Stay Okay」,繼續讓屋企成為你快樂嘅地方。

Since 2022, StayOkayHK has been staying okay with you all the way to 2025. This year, StayOkayHK will officially come to the end.

: a universal public health initiative to promote stay-at-home during COVID-19 started in 2022, aiming to encourage public's motivation to stay at home during the pandemic, and make home a happy and comfortable place, during and after the pandemic.

During this time, we would like to thank everyone for your continuous support and active participation in our social media activities.

除咗之前分享嘅健康情緒調節之外😃, 今次將會分享一個簡單而有效嘅框架 - 「心理健康 ABC」,幫助我哋更加正視及改善心理健康😉。

心理健康 ABC(Act-Belong-Commit)

Act 行動:積極參與各種活動,以保持身心活躍,從而提升你嘅心情和自信心
➡例如:每天進行30分鐘運動; 閱讀書籍以擴展知識;或者進行冥想以放鬆心情,舒緩壓力。

Belong 歸屬感:與朋友、屋企人或社區建立聯繫,尋找支持和理解
➡例如:參加社區活動、加入興趣小組、或者定期與家人和朋友保持聯絡,分享生活點滴,增強人際關係。

Commit 承諾:設定明確嘅生活目標,並喺追求這些目標嘅過程中,尋找意義及滿足感。
➡例如:寫下個人短期及長期目標,學習新技能、參加慈善活動回饋社會,這些都可以讓你感受到成就感同喜悅。

希望大家能夠實踐心理健康 ABC,提升自己嘅心理健康,過上更快樂、更充實嘅生活!🥰

In our busy lives, we often overlook the importance of mental health! 😔 However, maintaining good mental health is crucial for enhancing our quality of life!

In addition to the healthy emotion regulation that we shared earlier 😃, the Act-Belong-Commit that shares this time provides a simple and effective framework to help us improve our mental health 😉.

Mental Health ABC (Act-Belong-Commit)

Act: Take action by actively participating in various activities to keep your body and mind engaged, which in turn enhances your mood and confidence.
➡e.g. Exercise for 30 minutes every day; read books to expand your knowledge; or meditate to relax and relieve stress.

Belong: Build connections with friends, family, or the community to seek support and understanding.
➡e.g. Join community activities, participate in interest groups, or regularly stay in touch with family and friends to share life moments and strengthen relationships.

Commit: Set clear goals, and seek meaning and fulfillment in the process of pursuing these goals.
➡e.g. Write down personal short-term and long-term goals, learn new skills, participate in charitable activities to contribute to society—these can all provide a sense of achievement and joy.

【天氣影響情緒?】

天氣變冷嘅時候,有些人可能會感到特別情緒低落😔, 甚至有時感到莫名嘅憂鬱感,做咩都提唔起勁😕!這種情況喺冬天尤為明顯,可能係因為日照時間變短🌬,導致我們體內嘅血清素分泌減少,從而影響情緒。

分享幾個方法幫大家改善情緒:

1️⃣適量曬太陽🌞
曬太陽能讓腦部血清素水平提升,幫助調節情緒。即使喺冬天,適當陽光接觸仍能為我們帶來心靈上嘅溫暖。

2️⃣進食富含色胺酸嘅食物🥛
色氨酸可以幫助我哋合成血清素,從而幫助改善心情。牛奶、香蕉、燕麥、核桃等食物都係含色胺酸嘅食物,適量攝取能幫助改善情緒。

3️⃣保持適量運動🏃
運動時,大腦會釋放安多酚,這是一種天然嘅「快樂荷爾蒙」,能為我們帶來愉悅感,讓人心情愉快。

4️⃣寫感恩日記📖
記錄生活中值得感恩嘅事情和快樂嘅時刻,透過回想這些美好嘅瞬間,可以為我們帶來正向情緒,改善好你嘅心情。

5️⃣確保充足睡眠💤
良好嘅睡眠品質對情緒至關重要,建議每晚至少睡八小時,讓你第二天精力充沛,迎接新嘅挑戰。

希望以上方法能幫大家喺寒冷嘅季節中,戰勝情緒低落,改善心情,一齊度過美好嘅冬天及聖誕節!!!

[How does the weather affect your mood?]

When the weather gets cold, some people may feel particularly “emo” and down 😔, and sometimes experience a vague sense of depression, finding it hard to be motivated to do anything 😕! This situation is particularly noticeable in winter, possibly because of shorter daylight hours 🌬, which leads to a decrease in serotonin production in our bodies, thereby affecting our mood.

shares a few ways to help you improve your moods:

1️⃣ Get more exposure to sunlight 🌞
Sunlight can boost serotonin levels in the brain and help regulate mood. Even in winter, appropriate exposure to sunlight can bring us emotional warmth.

2️⃣Eat foods rich in tryptophan, such as milk, bananas, oats, walnuts etc.🥛
Tryptophan is the main ingredient of serotonin, which can improve our mood. Foods like milk, bananas, oats, and walnuts are high in tryptophan, consuming them can help enhance your mood.

3️⃣Maintain regular exercise 🏃
When we work out, the brain releases endorphins, which are natural "happy hormones" that bring us feelings of joy and improve our mood.

4️⃣Keep a gratitude journal 📖
Recording things you are grateful for and happy moments in life can evoke positive emotions, thus improving your mood.

5️⃣Ensure adequate sleep 💤
Good quality sleep is essential for mood regulation. It is recommended to sleep at least eight hours every night, allowing you to wake up refreshed and ready to face new challenges.

【健康情緒調節】

上次 分享咗意識情緒係情緒管理嘅第一步。當清楚覺察到自己當下嘅情緒,咁先可以有效地管理及調節情緒,從而減輕負面情緒對我哋嘅影響。

今次 將會分享何謂「健康情緒調節」:

1️⃣覺察情緒
能準確地覺察到自己正在經歷嘅情緒,並認清自己嘅感受和情緒規律。(詳情可參考 《管理情緒 - 情緒覺察》)

2️⃣接納情緒
無論情緒係正面定負面,應以非批判性嘅態度接納自己嘅感受。了解情緒本身並冇好壞之分,而係人類正常嘅情感反應,幫助我哋面對同接納情緒。

3️⃣適當地管理情緒
以健康同適合嘅方法來表達同處理自己嘅情緒,例如運動、冥想、或一些放鬆身心嘅練習。

而不健康嘅情緒調節方式包括但不限於:
➡️認為自己無法影響情緒
➡️避免經歷負面或強烈嘅情緒
➡️使用不健康嘅方法處理或改變情緒
➡️將自身情緒歸咎於自己或他人

每個人嘅情緒反應同調節策略都唔同,因此要嘗試去找出適合自己嘅情緒調節策略。透過合適嘅方法,咁先可以有效地管理情緒,進而幫助面對生活中嘅挑戰,保持心理健康。

[Healthy Emotion Regulation]

Last time, shared with everyone that being aware of our emotions is the first step in emotional regulation. Awaring our emotions helps us to effectively manage and regulate them, thus reducing the impact of negative emotions on our lives.

Today, will share what is "healthy emotion regulation", allowing everyone to gain a better understanding of emotional regulation.

1️⃣Aware of Emotions
Accurately aware of the emotions and emotional patterns is the first step in emotional regulation. (For more details, please refer to the post “Emotional Awareness”)

2️⃣Accept your Emotions
Regardless of whether the emotions are positive or negative, we should accept our feelings in a non-judgmental manner. Understanding emotions are neither good nor bad but a normal human emotional response helps us face and accept our emotions.

3️⃣Appropriately Managing Emotion
Expressing and managing emotions in healthy and appropriate ways, such as exercising, meditating, or some relaxation practices.

On the other hand, unhealthy emotional regulation strategies include but not limited to:
➡️Believing we cannot influence how we feel
➡️Avoiding experiencing of negative or intense emotions
➡️Using unhealthy methods to cope with emotions
➡️Blaming ourselves or others for our feelings

Everyone’s emotional responses and regulation strategies are different, so it's important to try and find out which work for you. By using appropriate and healthy emotional regulation strategies, we can effectively manage our emotions, which helps us face challenges and maintain good mental health.

有時候,使用「你」開頭嘅句子,感覺像將所有矛頭指向對方,會讓他們感到受到批評和反感。但係良好嘅溝通往往係建立親子關係嘅關鍵💪🏼!今日 將分享運用「我的訊息」嘅技巧💭,幫助父母有效地與子女溝通。

「我的訊息」強調表達自己嘅感受與想法,而不是指責。此技巧將重點放喺對方嘅問題行為以及該行為帶來嘅後果,並以溫和和非批判性嘅方式表達自己嘅感受來讓對方理解。

以下係使用「我的訊息」💭嘅步驟:

1️⃣ 確定自己當下嘅感受並清楚地說明引發這些感受嘅事件
2️⃣ 句子開頭使用「我」
3️⃣ 訊息包含以下內容:
📌陳述觀察到嘅行為:「當我見到/聽到……嘅時候」
📌陳述感受:「我覺得/感到……」
📌陳述對你嘅後果或結果: 「因為......」
📌表達期望或提供解決方案:「我希望……」

例子:
❎「成間客廳都係玩具,你真係無手尾…」
✅「當我見到成個客廳都係玩具時,我好有壓力,好煩厭 ,因為我時不時都踩到玩具,腳會好痛。我希望你能將你嘅玩具收拾好,讓客廳更整潔嗎?

[“I” Statement]

Why do children never obey, or even argue? ?

Sometimes, starting sentences with “you” makes it feel like all the criticism is directed at them, which may lead to feelings of being judged or criticized. However, good communication is always the key to building a good parent-child relationship 💪🏼! Today, will share how to use "I" statement 💭 to help parents effectively communicate with their children.

By using "I" statement, it emphasizes expressing our feelings and thoughts rather than blaming others. It focuses on the child’s behaviors and the consequences it causes, and effectively conveys your feelings and needs in a non-judgmental and respectful manner.

Here are a few steps to use "I" statement 💭:

1️⃣ Identify your feelings and clearly state the specific event that triggered these feelings.
2️⃣ Start your sentence with "I".
3️⃣ Should include the following elements in your message:
📌 State the observed behavior: "When I saw/heard..."
📌 State your feelings: "I feel..."
📌 State the consequence to you: "Because..."
📌 Express expectations or provide solutions: "I hope..."

For example:
❎ “The living room is full of toys, you are really messy...”
✅ “When I saw that the living room was full of toys, I felt very stressed and disgusted because I often stepped on the toys, which hurt my feet. I hope you can tidy up your toys.”

➡專制權威型:
設有嚴格規定和懲罰制度,強調紀律及服從,但缺乏情感上嘅支持及鼓勵。

❎ 缺乏自信心,害怕犯錯
❎ 影響心理健康和社交情感發展

➡包容放任型 :
較為寬容並會給予孩子較大嘅自主空間,通常不會對孩子錯誤行為及時加以指導或限制。

❎依賴父母,缺乏獨立性和解難能力

➡淡漠忽視型:

The way parents discipline their children plays a key in their development! This time, shares 4 types of parenting styles to help parents better understand which style they belong to.

➡Authoritative Parenting:
Characterized by setting clear expectations and guidelines based on each child’s characteristics and actively building close relationships through communication, such as encouraging children to participate in the decision-making and respect their opinions.

✅ Helps shape positive attitudes in children when facing challenges.
✅ Develop a sense of responsibility and independence.

➡ Authoritarian parenting:
Characterized by strict rules and punishments, emphasizing discipline and obedience, but lacking emotional support and encouragement.

❎ Lack of confidence and fear of making mistakes.
❎ Poor mental health and social and emotional development.

➡Permissive Parenting:
Parents are more lenient and give their children greater autonomy, often failing to promptly guide or restrict inappropriate behavior.

❎ Excessive permissiveness may lead to a lack of discipline, resulting in selfish and self-centered behaviors.
❎ Lack of independence and problem-solving abilities.

➡ Neglectful Parenting:
Little interaction between parents and children. Cold relationship with minimal emotional support.

❎Feel loneliness and insecure, and also struggling to establish stable emotional connections

親子之間嘅愛係需要好好表達出嚟💕!今日 將會介紹「愛的五種語言」,希望家長可以有效地傳達愛意,改善親子關係😘。

以下就係5種愛的語言❤:

❤肯定言語:父母可以多加稱讚和鼓勵仔女,令孩子感到被肯定和重視。 (詳情可參考 《讚美與鼓勵技巧》)

❤服務行動:透過具體行動來表達愛意,例如準備餐點、接送上下學等。

❤贈送禮物:透過送禮物嚟表達愛意。送禮應強調背後嘅心意,並非物質嘅價值,例如親手製作嘅生日卡。

❤精心時刻:專屬於親子之間嘅時光,關鍵在於高質量嘅交流和陪伴。 (詳情可參考《兒童主導之親子時間》)

❤身體接觸:透過親密嘅肢體接觸來釋出關懷與愛意,例如適時擁抱孩子等。

Do parents often find it difficult to connect with their children? Or do you love your children but find it hard to express your love?

Love between parents and children needs to be expressed properly💕! Today, will share the "Five Love Languages" in the hope that parents can effectively convey your love and improve your relationship with your children 😘.

Here are 5 love languages ❤:

❤Words of Affirmation: Parents can often praise and encourage their children, allowing children to feel affirmed and valued. (Please see "Praise and Encouragement" for more details)

❤Acts of Service: Expressing care and love through actions, e.g., preparing meals or driving them to and from school.

❤Receiving Gifts: Expressing love through gifts. The emphasis should be on the thought and heart behind the gift rather than its material value, such as a handmade birthday card.

❤Quality Time: Special time spent between parents and children, focusing on high-quality communication and companionship. (Please see "Child-led Time" for more details)

大家有無聽過「身心運動」(mind-body exercise)呢🤔?

身心運動係一種結合身體運動、精神集中和控制呼吸嘅運動形式。與傳統運動唔同,身心運動更多地著重於促進身心之間嘅連繫,從而改善整體嘅健康狀態。身心運動通常強調的是較緩慢且有意識嘅動作,而唔係一味追求速度或訓練效果。其最大嘅特點在於運動時專注於呼吸與身體變化嘅察覺,讓身心得到真正嘅放鬆與調整。通常我們常見嘅太極、瑜伽都屬於身心運動。

[Mind-Body Exercise]

Have you heard of “mind-body exercise”🤔?

Mind-body exercise is a form of exercise that combines physical movement, mental concentration, and breath control, in which we bring our awareness to body movement and focus on breathing or the way our body feels as it moves. Unlike traditional exercises, it aims to promote mind–body connection to improve our overall well-being. Instead of just pursuing speed and training effects, mind-body exercises typically focus on slower and more conscious movements. The most important feature is to focus on awareness of breathing and body changes during exercise, allowing for relaxation and adjustment of the mind and body. The common mind-body exercises include Tai Chi and Yoga.

What are the benefits of mind-body exercise? Research shows that there are many benefits:
✅Improves cognitive functions: Enhance memory and learning abilities etc.
✅Strengthen physical fitness: Enhances strength, balance, and flexibility.
✅Reduce the risk of disease: Reduced the risk of cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, etc.

有氧運動?無氧運動?聽就可能聽得多,究竟有咩分別呢?

📌有氧運動:運動過程中身體會利用心跳呼吸加快,提供氧氣產生能量供應肌肉所需,如慢跑、健走、游泳等,主要可幫助訓練耐力及心肺功能。

📌無氧運動:身體喺短時間內用最大努力完成高強度動作,主要依賴存儲喺肌肉中嘅能量,而唔係使用氧氣。呢類運動通常持續時間較短,例如舉重、健身等。無氧運動嘅主要好處包括增加肌肉量和提升代謝率💪。

知道大家好忙,但運動喺屋企做都一樣得!就等我哋推介幾個居家可以做嘅有氧及無氧運動俾大家啦!
➡有氧運動:跳繩、跳舞、原地踏步、弓箭步跳躍、波比跳等

📌Aerobic Exercise: Physical activity that increases your heart rate and respiratory rate to supply more oxygen for energy production to meet the demands of muscles. The common aerobic exercises include jogging, walking, swimming, etc. This type of exercise mainly helps to train endurance and cardiorespiratory function.

📌Anaerobic exercise: Physical activity that requires maximum effort to complete high-intensity actions in a short period. This type of exercise primarily relies on energy stored in the muscles rather than using oxygen. Common anaerobic exercises include weightlifting and resistance training. The main benefits of anaerobic exercise include increasing muscle mass and boosting metabolic rate💪.

knows you may be busy, but exercise can be done at home too! Let us recommend some aerobic and anaerobic exercises that you can do at home!

➡Aerobic exercises: jumping rope, dancing, marching in place, jumping lunges, Burpee, etc.
➡Anaerobic exercises: weightlifting, plank, squats, sit-ups, push-ups, etc.
