🦠 bad breath is caused by bacteria in your mouth which feeds on food particles. They release sulfur compounds which are stinky.

🦷 besides from good oral hygiene, different foods can also help combat bad breath!

💧 water: rinse away leftover food in mouth, less food for the bacteria to eat

🥛yogurt: probiotics fights the bad mouth bacteria

🍵 green tea: catechins (antioxidant) and polyphenols fight bad mouth bacteria

🌿 parsley: polyphenols and chlorophyll help to deodorize the bad scent

🍬gum: gets rid of leftover food from the mouth, stimulates saliva

🫖ginger: 6-gingerol increases saliva’s ability to get rid of sulfur compounds

The comparison among three types of sweet potato shows a similar nutrition profile with different characteristics !

🧡Orange Sweet Potato is recommend for weight loss
- lowest calories
- highest in vitamin A & C

Characteristics:
💜Purple Sweet Potato:
- contains anthocyanin which acts as an antioxidant
🧡Orange Sweet Potato:
- highest amount of vitamin A & C
- helps maintains light detecting receptors
💛Yellow Sweet Potato:
- contains beta-carotene, which converts to vitamin A
- benefits eye health and vision

✅Benefits:

It is a natural product of the Maillard reaction that is generated when certain types of starchy foods are cooked at high temperatures (120c)

- The reaction of amino acid and reducing sugars

🌐The IARC classified acrylamide as a probable human carcinogen

👩🏻‍🔬Animal studies have shown that is has carcinogenic properties but further studies are required on human subjects.

🥔Therefore, don’t choose snacks with high acrylamide, salt, fat and flavouring.
